Guys, knowing Brett and Eddy there’s no way they’d say goodbye without a proper video. The recent vids have been pumped out like they’re back on the grind, and this time with a more educational academic theme, no way they’re stopping because they’re not interested. Either this is a set up for something else or smth happened that we don’t know about.

Guys don’t give up on TwoSet yet! they worked with a woman named Simone Maurer on their latest Bach video, and on her Instagram account she has a post about it. In the comments there are some people mentioning how it’s the last TwoSet video, and she responded to one of the comments by mentioning Brett and Eddy might just be making something “more special.” She also responded to another one saying she might work with them more down the line. So my bet is definitely on a rebranding!

It’s crazy this is the way they go out. After all the years of videos and concerts. Not even a goodbye video. A picture? Taking most of their videos down so we can’t even watch the old ones? Some kind of closure would be appreciated. Even if they had some kind of falling out between them, or lawsuits or whatever bad thing that we’re left here imagining. They have a right to retire from this if they want to move one but the way this was done is really a disservice to the fans. They’ve always come across as down to earth and passionate about music. The way they’ve left is just unsettling and a blow to their legacy.

NO STOP UR THE ONLY YOUTUBE CHANNEL MY 65 YEAR OLD FATHER HAS FOLLOWED FOR THE PAST 8 YEARS. he’s bought so much of ur merch and excitedly bought tickets to your concerts over the past several years. he doesn’t understand the hype around most youtubers/doesnt watch youtube unless its for politics/news/music but he really loves you guys. i have so many of ur tshirts that my dad bought for us to match, and he has put ur stickers all over his computer and phone cases. please!! continue. i pray this is just a rebranding. i and my father will forever miss you guys.

Never thought it'd end like this. When I look at the old videos with all the laughs and sharing, it seems so unreal and yet real. They are more than content creators to me, they are like my childhood friends who make me laugh when I'm bored, tell me never give up, remind me to practice unceasingly. Hope someday they will come back either individually or as a group and tell me they are well and they miss me too. I know most probably it's just wishful thinking or one sided " love"😭

Fantasia is one of the piece that I listened to when I felt I should stop my own life. I secluded myself from any social, family, or any important interactions from everyone else. It only took just a single urgent call by one of my professors to finally go to uni. If that professor was not also the guidance counselor, I would not even go to him. Just took advantaged of it. Cried my heart and shivered the whole time, but one of the things that he told me was to go out and enjoy the outside environment. He told me to listen to my favourite music. I gone out, and one of the things that I found out during those times was about Fantasia's music video. When I was at a park, I was watching it for the first time. I never felt so calm before that I was able to hear myself. I began to go out more. I listened to it many times, and every time I listen, Fantasia always sends me to a fantasy world. A place that could have been... Everytime, I cried. I started bringing shades when I go out to avoid people from looking at me on the verge of tears. Fantasia helped me collect myself up again, made me able to do soul-searching and gave me new meaning, to recreate the fantasy I dreamed of and turn it into reality. It has been 3 years since then, and I am still struggling a bit but compared to back then, that was far worse and dangerous. I watch TwoSet videos every day since 2019, and I watched every significant journey that they had. We all did. Seeing this to be their end, I tried finding my edited version of Fantasia where I made all 4 movements into a single song. Listening it for the first times after 3 years, felt like yesterday when all the bad stuff happened and all the changes I experienced. It has been a long time since I cried out of sadness and regret😢. I love you Brett and Eddy. Hopefully, we can get word from you guys on what is going on. Your whole community loves you and is thankful that you guys exists, or people like me would not even be existing right now. You saved a lot of lives, and inspired many others. Please come back soon😢.

While doing chemo therapy 2 years ago, there were days my brain refused to do anything but watch 2set videos. I couldn't do anything else, I couldn't even watch anything else. You really helped me get through. I'll never forget that, thank you boys ♥️

Thanks to 2 set,I finally learned some sociology, in the hard way, that parasocial heartbreak is a real heartbreak. It can hurt so deeply. For many years, time with 2set was like a fairy tale,too good to be true. They're like our Asian moms and big brothers . They care if we practice enough, lose our interests in classical music etc,etc. They share stories about music school and the orchestra. We even stuck together during the lockdown in the pandemic.... Just 2 weeks before your short goodbye announcement, I saw you at the talk in HKU. Then all of a sudden,you vanished into thin air, and so were most of the videos. I cannot think of a compelling reason why you can't do a proper farewell video. You have shared when either of you fell ill before. If some legal or personal issue is involved, I think you can still do a proper farewell video without touching on those issues. A proper closure is healthy to all. It would be lovely to be reminded of the core values of this channel: Stay passionate about classical music and keep practicing. Oh, I still feel so sad, a whole host of feelings actually....

I fell in love with piano again after discovering this channel and i became somewhat dependent on them (as in their videos are a set part of my daily life because they make me happy). I support twoset in all their decisions but i was so exited for more twoset academy and the new b2tsm content they teased

Hey TwoSet, I first found your channel when I was trying to find videos on violin related stuff (how to rosin a bow, tune a violin, etc.) because I was first staring to learn an instrument I had always wanted to play. My family and I stumbled across your videos by accident and ended up watching them on our archaic laptop for 2 or 3 hours, the whole time nearly crying from laughing. Since then, I became a hardcore Twosetter and begged for your merch for Christmas haha. You were the first channel I subscribed to when I got a YouTube account and the first comment I ever posted was on one of your shorts, because that's just how much your channel means to me. Your videos were with me in some of the hardest times in my life. I remember waking up at 4 in the morning to watch your Mendelssohn 4Mil livestream. My sister, mom, and I all went to your world tour and the next day we went to the Gong Cha promotion you guys had. TwoSet and Bubble Tea, my two favorite things, how could I miss that? I remember my sister followed Brett down the hallway in the Gong Cha to get a picture even though the pictures were supposed to be done. However, Brett was so sweet that even though he was probably tired, he still took a picture with us (i followed my sister when she followed Brett lol). I legit started crying as I started reading some of these comments under here outloud to my mom, it seems almost surreal. I really hope it's just a rebranding or something though. However, if it isn't I want to say this: Thank you, Brett and Eddy for the years of good memories. You guys are awesome, your channel is awesome, and your violin skills are awesome. Sometimes, just listening to you guys play made me want to cry from how beautiful it was. Again, thanks for the memories, TwoSet. ( ;´･ω･`) Just in case: If you can rebrand slowly, you can rebrand quickly. :>

I am in a big shock rn but I'm gonna write this anyway. Thank you... Thank you for creating this channel and inspring me, all of us. You guys were the reason why I trully loved classical music and started playing the piano again. You were the only reason I laughed when I was struggling life. You cured my depression with your music. Your music touched me and many others. If this post is a joke or something I will be really angry and also happy. If this is real at least keep the videos open, let me(us) enjoy the happiness you gave to us. Thanks to you I begin to draw again, my long lost passion. Just because you guys said PRACTICE. I believed that with my heart. I know you guys cherish this channel more than we are but why put down the Fantasia short film. It was all about that. You were my comfort content creators during pandemic, you made fall in love with piano all over again, I met incredible people through your community. This is a bittersweet goodbye but whatever your reason is thanks, thanks for everything guys. It was a long way together all these years as twosetter. I'm really happy I got to meet you back in 2022. One thing I know about Brett & Eddy is that they are very considerate of their fans. Let's patiently wait for them to reveal their plans and intentions for this action. Both are quite deliberate in their thoughts and are usually quite thorough. Though I'll admit I shall miss many of their old videos that I went to for a smile or even a moment of inspiration, overall, I love them like my own sons and respect whatever decisions they make concerning this channel. I have panic attacks quite often and whenever I have one I watch one of your old videos. It always calms me down a little and I always understand then, that I don't have to worry so much, because no matter what happens, music will always exist and be there for everyone. Brett and Eddy, I don't know how to describe that feeling, but somehow you have changed my life into something a lot better and you have always been a big motivation for me to practice more. Please say this is just a joke. I am really crying right now. But if this isn't a joke and you really don't want to do this anymore then that's fine. I only wish the best for you and if the best thing for you is to stop now then please stop now. But please, please don't delete your old videos! This scares me a lot!
