Iโd really love to see you run on a package of democracy reforms to make the government more responsive to voters and more immune from authoritarian takeover. Take the momentum from your elevation to the top of the ticket as evidence that voters care about being responsive to voters needs/wants and expand it! As a very progressive Jew who grew up in a Zionist youth movement, Iโm finding all of the rhetoric online about this conflict to be extremely upsetting and mostly extremely uninformed, so letโs get a few things straight about the term Zionism and the some historical facts that are important to know:

For a national homeland is not any different than that of Palestinians, Kurds, etc. so treating it as something inherently racist is pretty hypocritical. There are plenty of right wing religious zionists in Israel and the US who have twisted this meaning and their specific political aims are quite racist however, and you can and should heap your scorn on Netanyahu and his right wing coalition of crazies.
