    Quoted from jackd104:

From Knapp “On Pinside, Spooky Luke stated that the game will come in one version, the Collector's Edition, which will be priced at $9,999 including the topper.”. Missed this post. So which is it? Topper included or topper $1399 more?

I hope that's not the case. Even if that $9999 includes a basic topper, I don't have the room for it. I'd be more interested in a Bloodsucker Edition of this game assuming that's what gets you the UV lights over the Standard.

I believe only CE is being made for this game.

I was a lock already, but confirmed Bruce call outs? The cab art? That topper? Holy shit.

    #104 11 hours ago
    Quoted from Flipper_McGavin:

Another cabinet art win. The less Zombie Yeti the better.

I partially agree. Was hoping they were doing multiple models just to see a less busy option. The art on the left side (book) looks really out of place to me. But hey, I preferred the mystery machine cabinet on Scooby.

Yeah, a bit of a bummer. But it is what it is I guess. It's just dumb like all pinball reveal with very/minimal info and then you got like a 1 hour window to make a $10,000 decision. I'd like to see a gameplay stream before the FOMO sales go live.

    #106 10 hours ago

Kind of looks like UV? It’s all the rage lately. Could be cool…

They don't need 3 versions like Stern but they should have 1 less expensive option for $8000-8500.

    May hurt sales.

Yep. Initial FOMO sales are the most important moment for any manufacturer. Don’t see that ever changing.

Alternate sound package using the music from the musical would be pretty awesome, would be a lot of fun playing this game while listening to "What the F*** was that!" The musical is also based on Evil Dead 1 & 2 but uses lots of quotes from Army of Darkness, wonder if the pin will do the same.

I saw the musical on its first run off-broadway with my wife (gf at the time) in 2006 - we were just outside the splatter zone but still got hit.

Can totally imagine starting a ball with "Well hellooo Mr. Fancy Pants"

Nice, I saw it for the 4th time just recently in its recent Toronto run… was also there for the second ever show at the Tranzac Club in Toronto the day after the “blackout” in 2003!

    #114 10 hours ago
    Quoted from Pinstein:

    At least a wizard mode.

Hahaha I saw that in NYC years ago! In the blood splatter seats!

    Love the artwork and topper

    #116 10 hours ago
    Quoted from Boycer:

One version only: CE limited to 888 units. Franchi art looks great.
$9999 with basic topper. Deluxe motorized topper $1399 extra.
And will butter cab add another $1400 or so for those who want it all?.

Spooky knows pinball sales have slowed. They have their own sales figures from Scooby and LT and TCM plus the fact that BoF hasn't sold 1,100 units of Labyrinth yet. Spooky is wisely adjusting the build quantity to the current reality of the pinball market.

Yep. Fewer games at a higher price is a smarter in this environment.

Probably better QC for buyers too.

These boutiques should all completely cede the "pro" market to Stern, they are the only ones any good at it anyway.

This is the direction we want to head. Minus the higher price. I'd like to see fewer general units to protect our buyers resale as best we can. Also new facility, engineering improvements and lower game numbers will allow for growth in quality and craftsmanship. We don't need to sell 3000 games at Spooky. We just want to be able to keep doing what we do and make the best games we are humanly capable of making. Not looking to get rich or be the biggest company. Just want to be us.

    #120 10 hours ago

Oh my lord, now THAT is how you do a topper.

Been amazingly impressed with all of my Spooky games so far, and this looks incredible. Cant wait to see the trailer.

I dont want this game, at all(not into horror) but it looks beautiful and that topper is insane. Congrats!
And take that, BOF, with your 3 heads stuck on a plain black base. Begun, the topper wars have.

This is -not- a cake topper.

This is what I want to hear the smaller pinball companies saying.

Hope the deluxe topper has proper dimensions. Just need to know if it will fit in my basement.

Any ideas when they will start shipping?

We started assembling playfields and cabinets for them this week. I'd guess December or early January. We are about 4-6 weeks ahead of normal.

I dont have the width handy. However the game hieght is just shy of 76 inches and topper is 13 inches max hieght

    A company that gets it!

This will be my 4th Spooky now.

    Looks fantastic.

Suggestion, put a “made in the USA” sticker on the game

    #134 9 hours ago

Finally my pinside avatar is relevant! Though, bummed about it not having army of darkness, my favorite as a teen. Or...ash vs evil dead, which I also really enjoyed.

If it's over 84 or 85 inches tops, I'm screwed.

Stern games with toppers just clear my drop ceilings.

Would it be at all possible to extend the cables to sit the topper next to the game?

Oh without a doubt. Extended cables would be a piece of cake on this one.

SpookyLuke I'll buy one if you buy my Ultraman back! I'll give you a discount.

    #144 8 hours ago

I love Evil 1 and 2 when both came out. Wasn't really interested in buying a pinball but that topper got me. Will need to see the video tomorrow before buying one.

    #145 8 hours ago

I really like the art and topper, both look really good. But the no Army of Darkness, just 1&2 is really frustrating me. I would a lot closer to an instant buy, after seeing the rest of it and gameplay. But now I'm probably a 50% percent chance at best.

    #146 8 hours ago

Seriously, you guys are the best! Been into pinball for about 10 years now, but gradually I think Spooky really has become my fave now, and now around this time of year when you release a new game I get hyped more than ever. I think it's fair to say that every release of yours just gets better and better and better. I look along my Spooky games, and they just get more and more epic, each one... This one just looks off the charts... that topper alone... I thought nothing was gonna beat Labyrinths but, well looky here...

One of my all time favourite themes is Alien - I LOVE the pin as well it's totally amazing, and PB did a stellar job remaking it. But... I often wonder if a Spooky Alien would have been the most incredible thing ever.

    #147 8 hours ago

Army of darkness has its moments but it’s absolutely the worst of the three.

I don’t get it!! This is like getting Friday the 13th game and complaining it’s missing part 5

Don’t worry, they hauled Bruce into the studio, I’m sure the line “hail to the king baby” will be in the game.

Part 5 is my favorite for sure. The most kills, the most nudity, the most humor. Roy doesn’t get a lot of love.

Even without the license considerations think about the playfield layout/toys/etc... thematically it would be very jarring to have army of darkness mixed in there... it seems (from the LCD image of choosing the movie) that you'll be picking which one like Alien(s). I'm super duper hyped. edit: lol, this is my 3rd post ever?!? Evil Dead FTW!
