Weekly WIP #87

  • Misc.

    Nothing has been progressed this week in any significant way. Some cleaning of files/saves/models, some testing of ideas and themes, some practice bits that might turn into something down the line.

    Some illness in the household as well, which slows things down, since I had to stop and take care of that. I don't think I've caught anything doing so, hurrah.

    Christmas 2024 is soon to be full rendered. The testing let me set all the sound/timing some time ago, just never got around to the full 1080p render. Tons of time though to get it. It's been nice having the 'big' holiday ready so early. Not sure if I'd said so before, but it's smaller scale and a calmer pace than previous Christmas releases. Once again, no Gwen Tennyson for it. I miss using her for holidays.

    Black Menagerie - Tekken - Emilie "Lili" de Rochefort is still a go, just not going currently. Off to a good start, stalled due to Halloween, is now in minor limbo. That happens. It's a reason I don't do commissions. I'd most likely lose interest quicker on such projects and without the interest the drive to work on it dwindles.

    At any rate. I'll get something to show for next week, even if I have to just show super rough practice shots. I dislike not having something visual for Weekly WIPs, even though they often don't have anything worth showing nor are required to. Maybe I should go back to Shiala: Mirage style Weekly WIP after all.

Silent Hill - Halloween Mini-Vid Release (Free Version)

  •  Heather Mason is in for a 'check-up'.


    This is the free version released to all. Saturday, in place of the Weekly WIP, I'll release the other 4 clothing variations. Again, the animation is the same in all of them. The clothing Heather wears, and then isn't really wearing, is the difference along with the lack of credits in the alt versions. Also again, the picture preview is the angle you see and the amount you see. You're meant to not fully see what is happening. Anticipation, mystery, a tease, etc. etc.

    I've nothing to show/share other than saying Halloween 2024 has been rendering. It will be released on time this coming Thursday (Halloween Day) for free, with 4 alt outfit versions here for Subscribers Supporter Tier+. The free release will have credits to the side while the 4 alt outfits will not.

Weekly WIP #86

  • Halloween 2024 - Silent Hill - Heather Mason

    This week flew by. I didn't even realize the day til early this morning. I think I zoned out working on Halloween 2024, which is render ready and will start soon. There's 1 free release, with Heather in her 'classic' outfit. The rest (alt outfits) will be Tier 2+ ($3). This lets the release be free since a Holiday, but also give something more for those with higher tiers.

    The free release will have Heather fully nude later, with alt outfits having various clothing items removed depending on the outfit shown. Examples: The formal attire removes the dress, but leaves the stockings and heels while the long sleeve/shorts combo lifts the shirt and removes the shorts. In total there should be 5 releases of this in total: Nude, Classic, Formal, Harness and Shirt. Harness, in case you were wondering, will be the shirt/pants transition since neither of those worked well as partials. The animation remains the same in each though and it's a single angle roughly a minute long, so nothing overly long.

    And before anyone might 'rah rah' comment, the scene was setup to 'leave something to the imagination'; meaning you don't fully see what is happening to Heather, you get the impression, but not to say there's nothing to see.

    Free release will be on Halloween, with the extras, if rendered in time, the following Saturday or later if needed. Should be good though.

Weekly WIP #85

  •  Black Menagerie - Tekken - Emilie "Lili" de Rochefort
  • Potential Halloween (or later release)- Silent Hill Heather Mason

    A bit of another slow week. I had to spend time cleaning up the pc. I'm getting pretty low on memory. Since it was needed, I'm also looking into several replacements/upgrades. External memory, monitor, even mouse/keyboard needs replaced. Spend money to make money, etc. The UPS Battery/Surge I got last month is a wonderful thing.

    BM Lili, which I realized doesn't need a name since it pretty much speaks for itself and the other BMs didn't have 'official' names anyways, took a slight backseat this week in animation since I had an idea pop in I wanted to try to get sorted for Halloween; even though I'd not planned on Halloweening this year. I've said I think Horror might be the genre I do best in and wanted to poke at that again. Yeah, there's the Sadako from The Ring one as well, but eh, not as interesting to me. So, Heather Mason is stepping in. Too many ideas still. 

    "What's so scary about a sleeping girl and flower petals?"
    Wait and see. Speaking of the flowers, anyone get the 'funny ha ha' type reference?

    I still need to get Christmas 2024 rendered and videoed. It's been ready for a bit, just not found the time for it. So, if all goes as I hope, Silent Hill will be Halloween, BM Lili will be asap in November, I can start in on other things or pickup on something early December, and the Christmas will be on Christmas. Who knows though. Life, right? Plus, at times the creativity just explodes. That Pound-Her animation was created fully in little over a week, I think.

    Lastly, I need to sort some more upper Tier extras/bonuses again. I toyed with the idea of doing a higher tier only release every now and then, but I don't care for that much, even though I think my tiers are still much more 'bang for your buck'. I've seen others basically charge for WIP postings. Harder to balance this kind of thing than I thought.

Weekly WIP #84

  •  Black Menagerie (Name Undetermined) Tekken - Emilie "Lili" de Rochefort
  •  Misc.

    I took some time off this week.  BM Lili has more background ironed out, so her opening section is almost finished. Debating on if I need more background details. Probably not. Lighting is still a little rough, but her texture edits came out nice. I gave her a very slight tan line on just her bottom. Thought it was fitting.

    Other than that, there's more of the hinted at TV concept. Sadako, from The Ring, gets caught in a 'video capture' mode. The model was bought and gifted to me.  It might be Halloween ready, it might not. Either way if/when it's finished it'll be released; I say 'if' just in case. I am pretty happy with her intro in the project.

Weekly WIP #83

    Here's a couple BJ Machine loops with Batgirl (Barbara Gordon civilian clothing) and Oracle (same character, different hero theme). I made them this week in celebration of finally hitting 1,000+ followers on X. Nothing special, just a quick create.

    Tekken Lili's BM is coming along. I don't want to hype it too much with all the 'gonna do this, gonna do that' talk. Seems every time I do something goes awry. Instead, I'll just show some bits as it goes along, like this magazine cover I made for it. I enjoy making things like that. Anyone recall the DIY Ramma'Jam one (Sex, Solder and Screws) for Judy Álvarez?

    No news on the OC fronts. Hoping to get some info soon though.

    Things were a little slow this week overall though. Hurricane Helene was supposed to cause issues even where I am, but it didn't hit as bad as they thought. Got some rain/wind but nothing all that horrible. Couple hours away wasn't so lucky.

Weekly WIP #82 (Boo! Where's the release?!)

  •  I had to scroll down a bit to recall what Weekly # this should be. Seems I went on a mini-release streak there.

  •  Christmas 2024 is ready to render fully. Amazing. Usually, I'm still tweaking the final bits a week before release. I always start early though so I make sure to get something out in time. This year, well, is a hell of a lot less complicated than last year; or even the Gwen before that. It did hit an early snag though and ended up revamped fully aside from who was the focus. In the end it's a much calmer style this time around, but it fits the theme, scene and characters well. Other than that and this one preview, it'll have to wait til Christmas.

    A long time, I know.

  •  I had hit some issues finding suitable (or at least interesting to my personal choice) music for the next Black Menagerie. A few days ago, I finally came across some music that clicked, and the project has taken off.

  • I had the 'who' mostly sorted; Emilie "Lili" de Rochefort from Tekken, though Reina was a very close second and probably will be used sooner than later.  The scene build is a bit more detail than I need, of course, but I'm enjoying piecing it together. Instead of it being purely set in a club, this one is more like a personal setup in a penthouse apartment. Since Lili is Monégasque (from the Principality of Monaco), I went with trying to make the scene feel Mediterranean/French/Italian.

  • The lounging lady in pale red isn't anyone specific; just one of the watchers/buyers. She's actually a mix up of a couple characters since the base had some super janky parts, along with some texture edits of my own. A much smaller gathering for the show this time as well. 3-5 tops. Panam had 7, but alas they weren't even seen.

  •  This one is also a lot easier on the eyes for flashing. A softer feel to the music helps, for one thing, and the general setup idea keeps it toned down too.  Rich rather than rave. And lastly for it, I'm trying out my own settings for Ambient Occlusion. I've been using the settings someone else (who I can't recall) used, but they just don't click right for me. So, maybe I'll get that sorted as well.  Keeping in mind that a lot of models simply don't support AO at all, thus, not every project can even have that turned on.

    Plus, sometimes it just looks like shit.

  •  Original release from earlier this week as well as a slower camera pace changing extra animation. The original is more fluid with the theme, but the extra gives the viewer more time to see specific angles. Plus I decided to add in an angle/concept I've never did before.

Weekly WIP #81

  •  Black Menagerie: Cyberpunk - Panam

Not much to say for this Weekly. It's nearly all been rendering what I can get out of the Panam project with a little Christmas 2024 on the side. Each section of BM Panam has taken between 3-6 hours. Even if I don't get it ready by next Saturday, I have that Labor Day animation. So, it will either be just that one or a double release.

Not going further into BM Panam, some things might not be noticed. The small tanks of liquid below/behind her for example, drain as the animation(s) progressed. Since now it only has the one, it doesn't drain very much. It was meant to be shown as a mix of Heat and that Orgasm Denial stuff. I like those tanks though, so I'll be using them again for the machines. I'd thought about making a 'baseline machine' for the Ramma'Jam concept, but eh. Better to adjust it per theme/genre really.

Life is Strange - Mini Release Loop

  •  Mini Release: A little throw together from a practice/concept with Rachel and Chloe from Life is Strange. Mostly trying new light/camera settings along with more constraint practice.

  • Ever since Max won the poll for a project awhile back I'd wanted to do more with the girls, just never got to them again. Too many things to do, so many people to pick to do them. This mini release uses models from MMmallow (no, that's not a typo. Lots of M). Max's model in Long Night was as well. Some of the best models ever made, in my opinion.  Very advanced for when they were created and rare to see as well, since MMmallow is no longer around. I'm lucky in that regard. I have another project in the works using LiS girls; those models are by Lord Aardvark; maker of most of the DoA models I've used as well as the Mass Effect ones. I'm being smart about it, unlike poor Panam, so current issues shouldn't crop up again.

  •  Speaking of, Panam is still being rendered. There was, at least, several camera angles set to be used before the session went screwy, giving me a lot to sift and splice; even if there's gonna be some jank. I can render what is already made, but changing much causes crashes. Background characters were hardly animated and the animation was never fine tuned to the camera angles; thus, some things probably won't line up or look correct. I might try some different settings in Sony Vegas, like the new effects I used for that EZ-PZ commercial. See if that helps make it something decent.

  •  The new LiS mentioned (not this mini release) isn't a Black Menagerie; but more of that is coming for sure. Like New Cure with Mass Effect FemShep, Panam had/has her shot, so moving on to another theme. I'm still really leaning towards a Tekken character, though I do have a really good Mortal Kombat sounding clubish song.

Weekly WIP #80

  •  Black Menagerie: Cyberpunk - Panam
  •  Misc.

  • This week I worked on a small project for Labor Day. Why? Why not? I had an idea pop in my head so I ran with it and it's fully ready for release; a 60 second loop. Since Labor Day is Sep 2 and that's a Monday this year, I'll release Labor Day the Saturday prior; August 31st.

  •  This coming week will all be about getting what I can of BM - Panam salvaged and together. Maybe I can get it out by next week. Depends on how well it cooperates with me. So unless I poke at other things as well, next Weekly will either be a release or maybe canceled since it wouldn't have anything new to show.

  •  I was asked on Discord if I had any plans for the next Black Menagerie yet. I was thinking maybe a fighter game girl, like Tekken or Mortal Kombat. From what I gather, Tekken has a club/rave style music theme already, so that fits with Black Menagerie. Maybe Resident Evil? Umbrella mofos could have like, Rebecca Chambers in a show. Could do a Life is Strange? So yeah, it's up the in air still. I just need to make sure not to do the same things I did with Panam, causing the crash issue I have with her.

Weekly WIP #79 & Mini-Release

  •  Earlier this week I posted about the BM - Panam project breaking. Sad to say it's still broken. I'm debating on either salvaging what I can, releasing that and moving on or restarting the entire thing. The former option seems best, even though I hate 'as is' releases.

  •  Since things went south on Panam I've spent time testing visual/audio effects in Sony Vegas Pro like 'glitches' and a robotic style voice, which I think turned out pretty well for Demi. As such, I created a little commercial for EZ-PZ Lubricants, which ironically was the first concept for those I had. Heat turned out more fun to use in things though, already having its own commercial awhile back with Mass Effect Kasumi Goto but the EZ-PZ bottles have been a constant as well. So below are 3 loops. One is the commercial itself and the other two are non-music (shocking I know) sound only loops; regular and closeup.

  •  I also took some time to poke at other ideas to see which might work for projects and cleaned out some old ones that will never go anywhere. Edited some textures for several models. Looked around for some more music files. Made this week a more 'generalized' week. If I'd kept fighting Panam, well, I might have thrown away a lot more things out of anger. Instead, I made a commercial.

Weekly WIP #78

  •  Black Menagerie: Panam Palmer - Cyberpunk 2077
  •  Christmas 2024: ???? - ????

  • Reverse order just to get it out of the way. CHRISTMAS IN JULY?! Yeah. (Pics with snowman) It's the only holiday I feel compelled to always make something for and to be sure I always get something for it I start them early in case I get backed up on projects or my initial idea doesn't work. I worked Retail for many years and the holiday rush sucked. I don't want to have to holiday rush these, so. Very early WIP of it, of course, and it's already taken a couple drastic changes, somewhat proving my point of an early start.

  • Can anyone guess who the girl is? Wait, what? One girl? No (s) added? Singular?! Yup, just the one this time around and it's going to be a bit smaller in general scope. Right now it's the main girl and 4 backgrounders.

  • BM - Panam section 1 still needs its final adjustments, then it's ready. Section 2-4, 4 being the credits as well as animation, should come out faster now that the scene is set. Building the scene can sometimes be harder to get set then the animation. Thought I'd show a few of the bits with writing that might go unnoticed. I mean after all, who wants to read when the 'Ramma gets ta Jamma', right? Anyways... The Injector is in her, so that writing wouldn't have been seen anyways.

  • Chatted it over with my QA Consultant (friend) about the WIP faded watermark thing on these. Decided it's not really needed, but why not anyways? I know of other creators who had to constantly rebuke comments about 'unfinished work' because people kept reloading pics/video clips they posted as WIP as full releases elsewhere.

Weekly WIP #77

  •  Black Menagerie: Panam Palmer - Cyberpunk 2077
  •  Misc.

 Weekly 77 with Cyberpunk 2077. Spiffy.
  •  Panam's room is now set along with the various background watchers. I was going to have several, somewhere around a dozen, but cut it to 6 for time, memory space, and in the end most wouldn't be visible in the shadowing anyways.

  •  Sorta made the Brain Dance type headset things for her to wear. Figure they'd record this and sell it or maybe it's the Club staff. Either way; profit.

  •  For section 1 I still need to set the different camera angles as it progresses, adjust things for that angle, and then it should be finish and time to move to section 2; which in theory will go faster since so much can carry over.

  •  Not sure if I'd already commented on it or not, but a follower (MaxCoomer) created a spiffy necklace model for me with my little logo icon; so Panam gets to be the first to wear it. They also made a full icon model as well, that splits into pieces and all can be moved about. Both are really great and are sure to pop up in most things from now on.

  •  Lastly The Boys Firecracker animation replacement for the Meredith Stout one hasn't progressed much. It's a tricky one to animate and ironically might take longer to make then Panam, so it might get pushed to a bigger thing and I sort yet another smaller one. Or I might just rehash the idea and still use her. I want to use some of these paid for models.

Weekly WIP #76

  •  Black Menagerie: Panam Palmer - Cyberpunk 2077
  •  Firecracker - The Boys

WARNING:

BOTH VIDEOS HAVE VERY FLASHY LIGHT EFFECTS


  •  Previews of the flashing lights and some of the music chosen for current projects. Panam's doesn't have anything else to show this week. It's all been lights and scene building when worked on.

  •  The idea for Meredith Stout has fallen through. The model is rigged oddly, breaking at the hips when bent very much. I'll still be able to use the model in things, just not what I wanted right now, so scrapped her project. It wasn't much past the concept stage, thankfully.

  •  Which brings me to the new smaller project with Firecracker. I've never seen The Boys, but the character was nice when I saw her model being worked on, so I grabbed her as soon as it was released. Had to look up how she was to sort themes and such. Only worked on her yesterday, but I loved every minute of it. It's a fun project for me and the model is excellent.

  •  Those are the projects right now. I'd mentioned awhile back about curbing how many things I have going at once. 2. One I'm loving and one I'm liking. Seems a good amount.

Weekly WIP #75

  •  Black Menagerie - Cyberpunk 2077: Panam Palmer

Progress, though not as much as I'd have liked. Lot of small things happened this week to slow things down and a big one too.

The basics of the room itself I stole from Poison Ivy's; walls, floor, the shelf supplies. I'll still be setting the overall to a more fitting style. It won't be as dark though and I want it more compact. Kind of get the watchers like right up on her almost.

I know I've said 'Flashing Lights Warning' on these before, but this time it's a serious thing. It really gets flashy. I'll post some kind of preview of it on X/Twitter soon.

Lastly, I have a loop idea for Meredith Stout. Since Panam is going to be large and take awhile, I wanted something quicker to release sooner than later.

Short and simple this week.

Weekly WIP #74

  •  Black Menagerie - Panam Palmer (Cyberpunk 2077)
  •  Misc./Other

  •  Some very early WIPs of Panam. I don't even have the room started yet. I do, however, have her first section general motions set and some of the lighting animated. Gives me a feel for the room, so to speak, so the rest can get sorted faster.

  •  The Inject thing is a model from uh. I dunno. Something else. I found it just the other day on SFMLab though and it suits my current need. Already been editing textures on it. The two little cannisters below are part of it. It's like a robot penis/testicles, but for this it's an injector and the tiny tanks with whatever is being injected; in this case Heat. Maybe some other things as well.

  •  I'm thinking about setting the room somewhat like Poison Ivy's for layout, but Ashely Graham's for lighting, so it's not so dark. It'll be more compact though no matter what, so that will probably negate the darkness. Early warning on the lights though, this one is super flashy already.

  •  So Panam is slated for 4 songs and 4 variations of this position; mostly leg adjustments. I forget the runtime estimate, but figure an average song is 2.5-3 minutes and I know one of them is at least 7 long, so yeah. It's gonna be long. BUT, SubscribeStar was nice when I asked and upped my overall posting file size, so. Larger, longer, BIGGER, BETTER, MORE MORE MORE.

  •  Anyways.

  •  Halloween animation is gonna be skipped this year. Panam is so large and I have several other things I want to do sooner than later. Christmas will still happen and I'll start that soonish actually, just not show anything for a bit. Some of the Mass Effects are on hold, since none of them were BM themed at all and I really wanna do more BMs. Edi Maintenance might still pop out as a short.

  •  And last for this one, I need to do some bonus stuff again. I might chop out a chunk of Panam and do a two version post again like how Valentine's Day had the extra bit before the credits for Investors. I'll have to wait and see how things turn out.
