As advertised works perfect it took only 12 days to get to Malta ordered straight from here being the cheapest option...I use crucial 2x16 5600mhz...works like a charm. I have a thunderbolt egpu but I haven't tested it yet and I don't think I will...I will order an oculink adapter for my egpu enclosure and we go from yhere...4k 120hz no issue

STILL NO SUPPORT Received - STAY CLEAR of this company! Faulty device received, and no response to emails! They profess “Always-on” customer services but it’s not true. This is effectively a FRAUD! I’m £400 out of pocket now, BE WARNED

What you need to know: Only reviews with at least 4 stars are published, skewing the above rating. If you read through the other reviews, you'll see that a lot of 5 star reviews actually feature negative experiences. My personal experience is also mixed and I would actually give this company 2.5 to 3 stars only. Why? - I have received no replies to several e-mails, for weeks. - Drivers and other Downloads are hosted on Google Drive, which is sometimes unavailable because GMKTec has exceeded their limit. - They also use Gmail for their e-mail address. That's unprofessionell, use your own company's domain instead. - There are no BIOS updates available on their download page. This mini PC is good and the price is nice, but customer service is horrible.

Bad reviews aren't published. I have tried to publish 4 times with a score of 1 star and they don't appear. I have had an awful service, device dead on arrival, support doesn't respond. Stay clear if you can and buy local to yourselves. Have purchased brand new ram twice from different supported vendor and still black screen. I would welcome someone to get in touch, it's been days and no response. Definitely not the 24/7 support they advertise.

As Black Friday is coming, I plan to buy GMK K8 plus, so I log in the official website of GMK to check, but I accidentally find that there is an error in the official information, that is, the icon is reversed. Now I have corrected this error and reported it to GMK with graphics, hoping to correct it. Of course, this does not affect my confidence in GMK products. As long as the price is right, I will definitely buy it.

Ordered barebones k8 with 8945hs, fitted brand new ram on arrival (2x32gb modules as per supported specs) and all I get is black screen. Very disappointed and not had any replies back from support.

I ordered the K8 Plus mid October, as I wanted a wee gaming system and as I had previously bought the K6 model for video eding work, I was suitably impressed and curious about their new one. This new K8 plus is another Mini PC power house. I bought the barebones version and installed a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro with Kingston Fury Impact PnP 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MT/S DDR5 CL40. The system flies though all daily tasks and excels in 1080p gaming and emulation! The K8 7840HS is fantastic with over 2683 points single core and 13646 Multi score in Geekbench 6 and with the NVME drive being over 7000 read and 6900 write more than enough for anything I need. Now the main difference between this and the K6 model is the noise level. More specifically the fan noise even when running in performance mode (70w) is almost silent! Great job Gmktec! The K6 which has a smaller internal fan when running at full speed the fan can be heard (like a high pitch fan noise when 100%), but this new one with a larger fan is incredibly silent. An excellent buy!
