DMCA Update about patreon leakage/Patreon Shutdown. (Patreon)
Content
i've gotten back some info from the Professionals at DMCA.com about the DMCA i've filed against the site. i'm not gonna name it cause i dont want to direct more traffic to their site.

I'm getting the money back thankfully but now i have to look into eventually filing a lawsuit against them which can be very pricey and very time consuming very fast.. i don't know what i'm gonna do or how i'm gonna proceed with this cause i've just read the email 5 minutes ago, but i know i don't feel motivated to continue my patreon right now, so i'll be shutting it down.
i think even if i have shut down everything and removed my patreon, the posts will most likely be visable on their website still, i don't know. maybe if i delete all posts they may also be deleted on the website.
i'm also very disappointed in how patreon is handleing this whole thing. apparently its been an issue for years and they are just fine with it. they havent responded to my email so far, while they still take their cut.
thanking everyone for their support over the years, it's been fun so far. I'm gonna refund this months earnings to everyone.
I don't know what i'm gonna do from here on out, if twitter actually has something like this i might use that instead cause twitter i think may have better protection against this kind of stuff, as much as i hate to say it.
i have kofi but kofi doesnt allow sexy stuff and i'm honestly not willing to go thru more hassle of making google docs and so on.
anyways, thanks for all the support, meant a lot to me to have you all arround.
EDIT:
leave it to patreon to make matters super complicated... i have to manually refund every patron instead of clicking on all and pressing one button.... i'm gonna unpublish the page tomorrow at 5 PM CEST , that means you're not gonna get charged for the month and i have time to do the refunds.
unpublishing also means you're not gonna see the posts so i'm not sure if you're gonna be able to see this post even tho i've set it to public, but just a heads up.
