These are my scars on full display in #2019. I'm proud of my scars and love my body just the way it is. I call them my battle wounds because they signify the strength and perseverance it took to finally complete my transition

I am a transgender woman & it is my RIGHT to determine what medical steps I want to pursue in order for me to feel more comfortable in my own body. I disclose my medical journey in order to EDUCATE but it’s still a personal process & I hope you all can respect my experiences

”Free vagina! My girl needs to breathe.” Getting the packing, dressing, and catheter removed and seeing my vagina for the first time was the most incredible moment. I was astounded at how beautiful and real it looked. Truly an amazing medical feat.
I am pansexual. This means that I am attracted to people at a level that surpasses gender identity or sexual orientation. I love people for their souls and internal beauty.

Every day my dad & I have been walking/running at least 3 miles in order to get me moving & about. Prior to this, I was very sedentary & would lay in my bed watching tv on my computer while binging on food. Thanks Dad for helping me reach my goals, I’ll love you forever

It all began 12 years ago when my family was featured on 20/20 with Barbara Walters in 2007. We've come a long way, and I'm proud to have brought awareness to the existence of gender non-conforming youth
Trans people embody courage & bravery. They stand in their truth & fight every day. Soldiers deserve respect for their service, not this.
Today is the Trans Day of Visibility! #ILoveBeingTransBc it has taught me to always stay true to my authentic character despite being different

I am proud to be trans. I am proud to be a part of a community. I am proud to be strong. I am proud to be visible.

”She’s a whole person already, this is just something that she's always wanted.” - My dad in reference to the gender confirmation surgery. This is MY choice, and no one can tell me what I can and cannot do with my body or how I should disclose my story
Thanks for respecting
Show moreIf we are speaking about biology, then sure, you can say that I'll always have XY chromosomes and never be a female. However, if we are discussing gender, then we are talking about identity & expression, & I am here declaring that I undeniably identify as a woman!!!

My mom is the most incredible, compassionate, and nurturing person in the entire world. She is my role model, my rock, my everything. I love her so much and couldn’t have gotten through this without her support

When I was 8 years old, I was banned from my playing girls soccer for over two years. The ban made me feel excluded, had no merit and negatively affected me and my family.
