In 2023, I tried to have conversations with women at public swimming pools hoping to improve my verbal skills.

I was "flirting" and joking with two young women (approximately aged 20) at a swimming pool in 2023 (I pastebinned this story on the day it happened just to get it off my chest; I didn't know this forum yet). They laughed and appeared to have a good time with me. We also played hide and seek around the streaming water channel. Then we went in different directions. There was no apparent indication that my presence was unwelcome. In retrospect, they might had been laughing at me.

Half an hour later, I met those two women again. This when I started joking with them, a few seconds later, out of nowhere, their mother appeared and threateningly asked me to stop interacting with them.

She said something like "I have noticed you speak to my daughters. Stop right now. You know what I mean." with a very hostile and screechy voice. Had I only heard the mother's voice without seeing her, I would have thought she is an eighty year old woman.

Given that I am taller and stronger than the mother (this is not bragging. I am not tall, but at least taller than that woman, because women are not tall in general, because they don't have to be to be able to mate.), and I lift weights, I was not physically scared of her. If I wanted to, I could have grabbed her head and pushed her under water on the spot. However, my point is, if mildly flirting with women like I did is considered inappropriate, how is our species supposed to mate and procreate? By hoping for women to miraculously come to men? Sorry, never happens. The burden of approacing is on men. I wish it weren't, but that's the way evolution happened.
