How to improve Bitchute. Stick to the old version that takes less memory. One good thing on the new version that should have been in the old one is that you can get the complete video title by hovering the mouse over the title in the list of videos. My suggestion would be some kind of functionality, a feature, where you can make a post that alerts the subscribers of a channel, to certain videos they recommend.
Or even a kind of embed function, where a video from another channel is being shared and viewed through a channel that wants to recommend that video.
I'm not too sure if you can just embed another bitchute video on your own channel? If that's the case, then that functionality I'm talking about already exists - so if there was a feature to make that happen easily.
Summary of suggestion: channel owners can share as a post, or mirror, another channels video, without having to download, and re-post it themselves.
- I'm just throwing that suggestion out, as it may lead on to other ideas. The only problem would be getting permission maybe from the channel you'd like to mirror from - but there could maybe be an action/button for that too - i.e. channel owner that publishes a video, makes the video available for mirror - another channel sees it's available, and mirrors.

Just my two cents but I think it's easier to just let people duplicate videos and upload them. You start tying up a system in layers, something always breaks.
I find it IDIOTIC, for example, that Rumble has a roll-over video function where you stay in the FIRST post window and watch a NEW video which you cannot link to or comment on. This, to me, is an example of Rumble being a bit technologically ... well, dumb.

Another thing I just noticed about new vs old is, that using new, if a channel (or video on that channel) is geoblocked, then using the new UI, videos on that channel are completely invisible. And channels that have a blanket geoblock look like they have 0 videos on it. Using the old UI, I can atleast see that there are videos there, and if I then click on them, I get told about the geoblock, and the reason for it.
The new UI just hides them. Is that on purpose?
If possible plz change that, I'd like to know that there is things I am not allowed to see by my governement, and why.

As an Englishman I'm delighted that Bitchute has been removed from the clutches of the 'U'K government and its controllers. An alternative to YouTube is sorely needed and I've always thought Bitchute had the potential to be that. The lack of growth of the platform has been a disappointment for some time and the greater opportunities for growth afforded by relocation to the USA are encouraging.
