The Biological Diversity (Amendment) Act, 2023, which has been heralded as a forward-looking legislative reform, aims to recalibrate the balance between biodiversity conservation and socio-economic development, particularly within sectors like ayurveda, yoga, naturopathy, unani, siddha, and homoeopathy (AYUSH).
