The Israeli military is conducting an ethnic cleansing operation in the northern Gaza Strip. The few Palestinians remaining in the area are being forcibly evacuated, homes and infrastructure have been destroyed, and wide roads in the area are being built and completing the separation of the communities in the northern Strip from the center of Gaza City. "The area looks like it was hit by a natural disaster," Haaretz military correspondent Yaniv Kubovich concluded after a tour with Israeli forces there last week.

Difficult to believe that an Israeli newspaper, especially one as respected as Haaretz, can say all this and yet the genocide and ethnic cleansing continues. Not just Palestinians but everyone should be afraid.

US elections are now done (marking the beginning of the transition period between US Administrations) and the Biden Administration's 30-day advanced warning to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza is over – the time has come :
1. for the Biden Administration to put a hold on military supplies used for IDF operations in Gaza
2. for the International Criminal Court to release arrest warrants for alleged war crimes against the PM and the former Min of Defense
3. for the International Court of Justice to announce that it wil hold trial in the Proceedings concerning alleged violations by Israel of its obligations under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in relation to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip (initiated by South Africa on Dec 29 2023)

Administration making things better for starved people in Gaza? Please, do not get me wrong but believing it indicates you want to believe impossible thing can somehow happen. It can be even worse with rainy and windy winters approaching soon.

fervent expression in words and writing helps right and rational - albeit seemingly 'impossible' - things to happen

luckily there are "horrifying pogroms"

elsewhere in the world.
That keeps Western leaders busy.
But judging by the comment sections, the crowds see through mass media lemmings and stands by the genuine victims.

Presumably one of the reasons for the departure of former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant is the disagreements over the last number of months with the goals of the Gaza and Lebanese military operations. This is a contributing issue to the dismissal and continuing disagreements between the IDF and Netanyahu. This is not an issue of Israelis supporting this coalition government actions now in northern Gaza but rather what has become a political and ideological Kahanist stance with regards to Gaza. They've already dismissed the welfare of the hostages long ago this government, which contradicts the majority of Israelis' demand for their return. There is no longer a monolithic Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza but rather remaining small groups of terrorists holding the hostages and fighting for their survival at the expense of hundreds of Palestinian civilians dying weekly. This does not bode well for Israel in the media and adhering to international laws.

""We are acting on the instructions of the [IDF's] Southern Command and chief of staff."
this reminds me Hannah Arendt, the banality of evil.

In the northern Gaza Strip, what appears to be a natural disaster is, in reality, a chilling act of ethnic cleansing. Homes razed, communities severed, and lives uprooted - all under the guise of military operations. As Brig. Gen. Itzik Cohen chillingly stated, there's no plan for the displaced to return. This is a premeditated tragedy unfolding before our eyes.

So you are saying it's in line with the way Turkey occupied Northern Cyprus 50 years ago?
