In my previous job, I was involved in overseas plant construction and investment and M&A operations at a machinery and plant manufacturer. I joined DOCOMO when I registered on a job search site to gather information for my career, and through a fortunate chance I received a message from my current superior. I decided to change jobs because I wanted to "take on the challenge of providing new value to society" through the DOCOMO Group's attractive communications infrastructure in the XR industry, which is still in its infancy.

After joining the company, I am in charge of searching for companies necessary for NTT QONOQ 's business expansion, considering alliance strategies, and executing M&A of target companies. I have many opportunities to interact with people from a wide range of industries and industries, as well as venture companies, and as we discuss business plans, we often hear about completely new services and businesses that have never been seen before. There are many situations where I feel like I'm actually there, and it's very rewarding.

The XR business is a growing market with great potential. Unlike businesses that require physical assets such as plants, this is a service that can be expanded worldwide using the Internet. We would like to pursue alliances and M&A with overseas companies, not just in Japan, and expand the services provided by NTT QONOQ worldwide. I think the current environment is the best because I can work collaboratively with my colleagues because of the fun and difficulty of trying new things.
