This interactive multimedia tutorial provides the student with an overview of the Internet of Things (IoT). This helps them develop the ability to think in a critical and strategic manner about the opportunities and challenges created by the Internet of Things in today's digital world. Through a visual and dynamic design, the student will navigate through the tutorial to be able to develop a solid knowledge base in IoT and understand how current emerging technologies, digital transformation and the impact of technology are affecting different industries and corporations. This tutorial will cover, among other things, the definition of the Internet of Things and its importance in today's world. How IoT is changing every industry (health, manufacturing, urban planning etc.), IoT partnerships, and the ecosystem necessary to make it a reality. The student will also analyze how certain challenges such as privacy, cybersecurity, cultural, social habits or interoperability affect the way Internet of Things functions in our current arena.
