Mountain Dew is moving to recruit the next generation of customers by hiking into its past. The PepsiCo-owned soda brand this month revealed a new visual identity that restores its proper first name “Mountain” while eschewing “Mtn,” the vowelless shorthand that appeared in a 2009 rebrand.
