- It is a so-called 'cherry blossom song' with graduation as the subject matter.[1]
- This song has excellent lyrics and a good song with the theme of parting with friends who are moving towards their future like scattering cherry blossom petals .
- This song was later released as the 8th single in a new version called <桜の花びratachi2008 >, and in AKB48's 4th album <1830m> , a solo titled <桜の花びら(Cherry Blossom Leaves)> commemorates Atsuko Maeda 's graduation included in the version. In addition, there is a version with a bridge melody added called <桜の花びratachi2010>, but it has never been recorded.
- This is a track included in Team A's 1st theater performance setlist, < PARTY が始Maruyo >.
- At that time, there was no concept of selection, so all 20 1st generation members belonging to Team A participated in the recording.
- At Request Hour 2008 , <桜の花びratachi> won first place .
- The song itself has an image of being the origin of AKB48 , so it is often used as an ending song for large-scale concerts or graduation concerts for early jockeys such as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations. Graduation concert video collection version

- At the time of release, it was released as a complete box . It was a set of 20 CDs with the same front cover but different back covers for each member. It is quite rare because it is not sold at general record stores.
- <桜の花びratachi> and <Dear my teacher> can currently be heard on the album < SET LIST〜Greatest Songs 2006-2007〜 > on domestic music streaming sites.
- Dear my teacher, along with制服が邪魔をする, was designated as media harmful to juveniles in accordance with Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Notice No. 2014-18 for unhealthy dating arrangements. See Gazette No. 18231
