Dundee driver fighting for life after horror smash as cops hunt for witnesses
A DRIVER is fighting for his life in hospital after a horror crash in Dundee.
A white Ford Fiesta and a white Honda Civic smashed together on Dunsinane Avenue, close to the junction with Craigowl Street, around 8pm last Thursday
One of the motorists, 26, was rushed to the city's Ninewells Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
His current condition is not yet known.
The other driver, a 47 year old man, was also taken to Ninewells with serious, but not critical, injuries.

Cops closed the road for six hours following the smash to conduct an investigation.
And they have urged anyone who was in the area at the time - or who may have dashcam footage, to come forward.
Sergeant William Strachan, from Dundee’s Road Policing Unit, said: “This was a serious crash that resulted in two people being taken to hospital and we are working to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

“I would ask anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage that can help with our collision investigation to get in touch.
"I would also ask anyone who saw either of the cars prior to the crash to contact us.
“Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident number 3283 of 8 July.”
