I wish we had some Bleach watch fics, that would be so good.

This question inspired me to go hunting through AO3. I was only able to find two fics where Bleach characters watch the show; one of them was an AU where the author's OC was part of the main plot and they reacted to that, while the other had the watchers being the Gotei 13 from before Urahara's banishment. Neither of them got anywhere near Renji's introduction; the AU one died after its version of episode 1, while the Gotei 13 one died after episode 7.

Watching Bleach with a Twist is the one that added the OC to Bleach's plot.
Gotei 13 watches anime - Pendulum Cast is the one with the old Gotei 13. It is restricted, so you'll need an AO3 account to view it.
