同性婚を認めない日本の規定は憲法違反であるとの高裁判決が出された。2審判決は2件目であり、いずれも違憲という判断だ。結婚の平等を求める闘いはまだ道半ばだが、われわれは分かっている。同性婚や異性婚ではなく、あるのは単なる「結婚」なのだ。気候変動や紛争、そして貧困など、世界にはわれわれが目を向けるべき諸課題がある。2人が互いへの愛の表明する方法に労力をつぎ込む必要などないはずだ。
