According to Egyptian officials to Al-Akhbar, there is a direct communication with Hamas officials to reach decisive agreements during the upcoming negotiation session which will involve the Egyptian intelligence chief, heads of CIA and Mossad, and is scheduled before US presidential election on November 5th.
The officials indicated that Israel's pressure to reduce the influence and power of UNRWA is seen as an attempt to gain more leverage in the negotiations.
However, the assessment presented to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi suggested that “Israel” prefers to postpone any decisive decisions until after US elections.
