"Aww, Blaze." Marine said with her heart in a flutter, "why are you so nice to me?! You're such a cobber!" 😭😭😭
"Calm down..." Blaze plainly said, "It's just a towel, Marine."
"I know but...it's YOUR towel," Marine said as she cherished the towel and pressed it to her face to wipe away the water. "And you gave it to ME. Strewth, I reckon we're practically best friends forever now. From now on we've got to do everything together."
"Umm...no." Blaze said, "It's just a towel, Marine. Dry yourself off and get dressed so we can go back to your home."
"Yes but...it's a special towel." Marine whispered as she observed the towel as though it was an ancient relic of great power. "It's...it's the Towel of Friendship. Whoever gives this towel to another has to be their best friend forever, and they have to do EVERYTHING together, mate. It's...an immortal bond."
"No, it's just a regular towel," Blaze sternly said, "and you just made all that up. Hurry up and lets go."
"Yea nah, Blaze, it's the truth. Towel's gonna start glowing any moment now to affirm our forever friendship, aye?"
"Just get dressed and lets go." Blaze said as she leapt off the rocks and began walking inland.
"Hold up, Blaze!" Marine said as she scurried to get dressed and get her belongings together.

Sorry for late answer. Thank you sonic much for the art and mini-fanfic! If Marine weren't a joker, I'd say she's a mini-Sticks!

I also notice that you always draw serious Blaze. In fact, she looks a lot more serious than she really is. Have you ever thought that she may have suffered childhood trauma and that it makes her have little sense of humor and get angry easily? That's what happened to my main character Gylmar Genius Cat.
Do you see Blaze and Marine as Mother and daughter or as sisters?
