Blaze Bathes Marine

In the second story of the fanfic Blaze and Marine really begin to bond, and we'll get lotsa scenes like this with Blaze bathing Marine and getting comfortable with her. Marine has a lot of parasites from the first story (fleas) so Blaze takes it to herself to properly clean her. Blaze has to rationalize that she HAS to clean Marine properly herself to take care of the fleas completely but she secretly just wants to exercise her maternal instincts. By this point in the story Blaze is starting to discover some dormant maternal instincts within her that she's very curious about. "Why does taking care of Marine feel so good?" she wonders as she begins to do more and more of it. Marine is probably a little too old to have someone bathe her but I find it more endearing that she is slightly too old as it is then forced via Blaze's secret desire to exercise her maternal side. Marine gets very flattered that Blaze would take care of her in such a manner as she has very low self-esteem. She normally HATES bathing, but if its Blaze doing it to her then it's not so bad.

I do hope we can reach this point of the fanfic as they are my favorite scenes since they are such big payoffs where they each finally start to accept each other but it's still very far away for now.
