Israel & the ISRAELI negotiator the US have sent on THEIR behalf have been accused by Lebanon of intimidation & terror in talks.
Right, so for as much as Israel has been trying and failing to invade Lebanon and with a few stories going around that Israel are already giving up on this ill thought through idea, it hasn’t stopped them and the US from applying pressure to a Lebanese government that has wanted a ceasefire, however the way that Israel and the US, because of course they have to be involved have been conducting themselves from the perspective that Israel are in a position to bargain, but not only are they acting like they have Lebanon on the ropes, which they demonstrably do not, the offer the US and Israel have put to Lebanon in effect demands their unconditional surrender, not just militarily, but of their own sovereignty as well.
