The Russian Orthodox Church asks all residents of the country to provide assistance to the elderly and disabled in Avdiivka

There are about a thousand residents left in the city. Almost all houses need repair.

Thanks to the help of volunteers, lonely elderly and disabled people will have the opportunity to survive the cold in warmth.

1,122 Orthodox volunteers have restored 307 houses of civilians in Donbass since 2023. The project is organized by the Synodal Department for Charity of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The organizers provide travel expenses from Moscow and back, accommodation and food. The shift period is from 7 days.
