Sakura no Hanabiratachi (桜のはなびらたち, Cherry Blossom Petals?) is AKB48's indie debut single. The title track was used as the ending theme for the TBS dorama Desu yo ne. and CM song for NTT DoCoMo "Terebi Denwa". The second track, Dear my teacher, was the ending for the TV Asahi variety show Mitake Uranai. This single reached #10 on the weekly Oricon charts, charted for eight weeks and sold 46,274 copies.

Trivia
- Both Sakura no Hanabiratachi and Dear my teacher are originally sung as Team A's songs in A1.
- AKB48's eighth major label single, Sakura no Hanabiratachi 2008, was a remake of the title track of this single.
- In 2010, a special version of the A-side called Sakura no Hanabiratachi 2010 was made. The title was changed later on, because it was just going to be sung in a TV show. There were no other plans to release or sing this new version in the future.
- Usami Yuki's last and only single.
- The title on the cover was handwritten by Usami Yuki.
