For 10-year-old Rafael Seligmann, leaving Israel for Germany in 1957 was a trauma, but for his parents it was a return to the homeland they had fled 20 years earlier. Today, Seligmann, 65, a successful journalist and novelist, is a firm believer in the rebirth of German-Jewish life, and has just launched a new quarterly, Jewish Voice from Germany, with the hope of helping the new generation of Jews there.

It is true, it is the fastest growing Jewish population and I see why. I have long considered moving to Berlin. It is one of the great cities of the world and one of the few places I can say without too much of a worry that I am Jewish.

All of European Jewry should move to Germany gradually. This is where Ashkenazi Jews first formed their identity!

Come on, germanophobic fellas, don't be so hard on Germany. I'd rather see immigrants from Israel than from certain other countries. And, as racism is inversely proportional to intelligence, you wouldnt want to converse with these 20 percent anyway

Now that they're nearly done stealing Palestine and the US, they're probably planning to start with Germany next

The German repented and they know that their whole culture would not be imaginable without the contribution of Jewish scientists, artists and writers.
