These 3 people were declared dead but they lived to tell the tale

One of them was paralysed, the other was hallucinating and the third fell down a deep crevasse on some of the highest mountains in the world. All of them were thought dead. This is the story of how they survived

When Anurag Maloo was presumed dead after falling into a crevasse on Mount Annapurna in the spring of 2023, Baljeet Kaur was lost near the summit hallucinating about a young girl trying to sell her an Indian flag. Not far off, in Camp IV, Arjun Vajpai was trying to resuscitate his old friend and veteran climber Noel Hanna.
The events that led these three climbers to the bosom of Annapurna in April 2023 were as different as they could be, but they did have one thing in common: all three of them had been declared dead on different mountains.
