the loading screen still scares the crap out of me, especially the one with the guy who has half of his face burning off. but overall a good game.

Really great for just shooting the Undead. Plus if you love classic movie maps like Night Of The Living Dead & Day Of The Dead, It's definitely worth grabbing. Very fun playing with friends as well.

The game-play overall as well as the game modes. This was released way before it's time. I've played for years and still enjoy. I can't wait to see how NMRIH 2 plays.

NMRiH is a free, almost knee-jerk, Source-based game - that's saying a lot. In practice, it is almost the only decent “add-on” on Source, and definitely the only game in its genre. The beauty of NMRiH lies in its atmosphere - a festering sense of injustice, often supported by local crappiness... Yes, there are a lot of problems here, ranging from balance and graphics to awkwardness and tight focus on multiplayer.

Nevertheless, if you're looking for a game about zombies, not a game where the zombie-apocalypse is just a setting - look no further

nice to see george romero's zombie tropes translate so well into a coop shooter like this.

substance over quantity, atmosphere over fashion... it definitely plays like a somewhat janky half-life 2 mod at times, but the engine is solid so who really cares. and it's free!

i originally played this game when it was greenlit around 2014, i've also comeback in anticipation for NMRIH2.
This game always has a ton if servers like left 4 dead in the way that finding a public match wont take you longer than 2 minutes the game is more than alive, especially with the custom maps, weapons, models, and etc. The mutators very much like L4D are also really fun to replay certain levels. This game is essentially a realistic F2P L4D, not a bad thing this game IS VERY MUCH ACTIVE AND WORTH YOUR TIME!!!

Better game with more functionality than NMRiH 2 just because it's finished has mod support and is still maintained by community since it was a baby mod

Don't play solo, play with friends or on servers with at least 5-7 person and don't forget to check the Keybinds. It would help alot. Out of the topic but i just recently learned how to press K and M1 with a gun first game ive seen where you can "cure the infection" with a gun. Good game would recommend since its free and fun. (my english not good)

For a Source engine game, No More Room in Hell sure has gone through a lot of work and sweat to be here.
Free as it can be and with a lot of community members to support this old baby. Lots of various maps, various oldschool and newschool guns to choose from with a wide arsenal of melee weapons giving fair amount of realism plus co-operation at hand. Maps can differ from easy to difficult objectives so you have to keep your teammates close to survive just avoid friendly-fire if there is any on server preset options.
Other than that this game does offer plentiful of gameplay hours not to get bored with and still stands strong to this day. Especially for a game made on Source engine it's an impeccable job.

It's free and for what you get it's obviously worth a try, but for me it's pretty lame. I'm not one of those people that if they don't feel powerful in any game they instantly hate it, but I don't get the hype.
Even for a "realistic" experience where your not an action hero, it's feels like a dream where you're swinging like you're underwater, plus you have a stick up your ass.
It just wasn't fun for me, but if it's fun for you that's good.
