I've been wanting to change my password since I was advised to by the Internet Archive for security reasons, but it appears this read-only fix doesn't let one log in to do so because of security reasons?

IA is a really important site especially when we want to save links, videos, images, books, and other stuff in case the original sources get lost. I wasn't expecting one of my favorite sites to get hacked, but I appreciate the hard work and let's hope this site stays safe again!

Can users log in? When I try it gives me the following message:
"We're sorry. Login is not allowed at this time. The latest updates can be found on X / Twitter, Bluesky, and Mastodon."
It is in provisional read mode mean thing like log in are not on but they will be soon ( don’t know how soon )

I work at a library and we've used your ebook option for interlibrary loans a few times, offering the link when we can't get a physical copy of the book they want. Invaluable, I have to say. Good luck with the fight!

My heart is breaking, the archive is how we keep track of lost media, incidents, very serious allegations against content creators, ect. We NEED the archive to be safe. That someone would do this... that's bad.
