I pulled out a 33 inch one out of the iliac/femoral artery prior to embalming. Another embalmer showed me one 27 inches long. And yesterday another mortician showed me a 16 inch clot. Both found them from the iliac/femoral artery prior to embalming. Strange isn't it? But what do I know? I am just an idiot embalmer who believes in God and cares about humanity! 20 years of experience and I never seen this until 2021! But again, what do I know? I am not a doctor or scientist so don't pay any attention to us morticians sounding an alarm about unusual things we are noticing.
