Does this mean we like Galactic Tank Force now? I'm confused since Dennis designed it but AP released it.

Quoted from Mthomasslo:Not sure you can call it a "hoax", I saw one with my own eyes at TPF in 2023
What’s the word I’m looking for? It didn’t run on its own it had shopping cart inside with wheels showing and I think someone was inside it too. Maybe it was better than that but it wasn’t as advertised. Still looked cool. Did they ever say whom was inside it?

It was a one-off remote controlled gimmick thing for shows.

Huge mistake, they should've put it into production, have it actually fire something, ideally ice cream. Stupid Fix.
Dennis was the only designer brave enough to put fur/hair into a game, and for that I’m thankful! I’d love to see more stuff that’s not plastic, metal or wood on a playfield. Leather anyone?
Quoted from VisitorQ:Does this mean we like Galactic Tank Force now? I'm confused since Dennis designed it but AP released it.
I haven't played it a ton, but i always sorta thought it was neat from what i have played. I just don't know about those actors.
What a huge bummer. I didn’t realize that Fix has gone so far off the reservation. Truly sad.
What’s the story with that Ryan guy, do they still pay him?
Sounds like next company to collapse is American Pinball.
Hopefully someone can snatch your designs from deeproot since dr doesn’t exist anymore.
Your Chicago Gaming design is slated for production starting late next decade, just be patient
Quoted from Pinbarclay:I’m most disturbed that they presumably have Whitewater 2 sitting there but they set it aside for… Barry O’s BBQ.
It’s like intentional self-sabotage. Is AP allergic to money?
I know- who’s making these decisions? Whitewater 2 would have been, immediately, their most desirable title… by a mile
I always wondered if a designer leaves where does thier design go? Intellectual property? I'm sure if it looks good and he leaked an image Pinside could pursuade one the big companies.....I think I just got a survey from Stern asking what titles would I like to see.....Whitewater 2

When I first played it I was actually interested in buying one but that damn tank in the middle with the targets... SUCKS!
Sorry, not sure how to put it. I actually love the b movie appeal to it but I like those sorta movies in general.
It a shame those targets didn't drop like AFM, I think it would have made the game a lot better but I am not a pinball designer.
AP some times their numbers are in the black sometimes in the red, well mostly in the red and we owe people money but that doesn’t matter!
If only you had a capable company right in your backyard that had massive manufacturing ability that you have previously worked with.
Maybe shop some designs to them if you own your designs.
They are surely in a rut with theme choices.

We played it again at the White Rose show in PA. The art is great but the all grey plastics need something....paint The tank targets get in the way of making it fun.
Dennis will be fine. The pinball market is extremely competitive and American Pinball will have to do better.
The A.P. booth/space at Expo is a joke. Houdini's in unfinished cabinets. Not a single Oktoberfest. A weird thing I noticed is there were people always playing Barry's BBQ.

They all know they will probably never have any chance to play it anywhere else.
Fix was never the right guy for American Pinball. It’s incredible to think he is still employed. Nice guy, but no vision, no talent and no taste. All wrong for pinball.
You guys are nuts, everything is fine. Houdini from 2017 is still in production and being sold all around the world!!! Also the reporter seems super excited about BBQ!!! Im sure she will buy 3 of them.

LOL I saw that yesterday on YT. I was ROTFL. For real.

That's weird, from my experience no game at the show was more freely open than bbq

They were getting a lot of play at the last Amusement Expo this past April.
