Getting frustrated with Android phones. Either go for a flagship (expensive) or midrange (so-so cameras and performance).
Is the new iOS 18 worth the update with it's new features?
And is there an iPhone with better battery life than the 15?

But so far as i have seen: iPhone will give thermal throttling when overheat but this is good for faster coolling down so not many such damage with amoled panel, while Samsung seems no thorttling anymore but could damage the amoled panel board in future by overheat

It specification given on this website is wrong as its main camera does not record Full HD video in 120 and 240 FPS and merely records videos not more than 60 FPS. So, plz take care of it.

Abandoned in 1 year because of 6 GB RAM. That's an Apple record and it's much worse if you shelled out on a 14 pro. I know AI really isn't required but you also lose out on extra RAM (aka future proofing), ultrawide autofocus, camera control and action button.

Akinbola, 19 Jul 2024Would it be reasonable to swap my iPhone 14 pro max to this iPhone 15?No it is really not reasonable at all, you got everything on 14 Pro except USB-C and that’s why i bought 15 just because USB-C, you can plug any OTG USB without MFI requirement nor warning message which much and much cheaper than MFI Lightning OTG, plug any PD Cable from android phones even the iphone 15 can do reverse charging to other iphone with lightning
Consider up to 15 pro or wait until the next gen of iphone has much newer features than 16 series

Literally almos... moreYou are not wrong, but android phones have the *need* to offer extra hardware specs in order to sell, while Apple doesn't. The iPhones' hardware is solid and the software is the best.

Funny…one thing I didn’t notice was that the 15’s max zoom is 10x, the same as the 11 Pro and Pro Max in 2019. The only difference is that there’s no extra camera.

S23 Ultra on 92% .. both iPhones still after 12hrs 98% .. Apple more optimised ..

iPhone 15 - much more support for external devices, wireless charging, 3x more performance and better stability - apps almost never crashes, much better camera quality even if it has more than 2x less megapixels, screen visually looks better, better sound quality - even bluetooth headphones/earphones/speakers sound louder, better construct quality. It's going to work at least for 5 years. Most of Xiaomi cheaper phones will have problems in 2 years or less. You pay less you get less (not always but often). I have iPhone 8 and it's still working fast and stable. iPhone and Xiaomi LCDs (not originals) almost have same prices. When people broke iPhone screen, some changed like 5 times for same phone. Xiaomi - better to buy new phone if comparing LCD changing price and whole new phone. But people change LCD if they have important information.
Screens with more than 60hz are actually useless. Even Youtube doesn't have more than 60fps. Menu looks faster but drain more battery.

Yep, the fact that this $140 Android up there can have a 120Hz display while an $830 iPhone is still stuck at 60Hz is just laughable.
But that's Apple for you - they won't care as long as they keep riling in boatloads of money every year 🤑

Unless you're a... moreI personally hard disagree, I went from a 90Hz Android to a 60Hz iPhone and even that small jump back down made the iPhone feel unfairly jittery in average UI use... The iPhone 15 with a 90Hz screen would have been a much closer to the ideal 2023 iPhone (in my opinion)

Unless you're a competitive gamer who plays games like COD Mobile, Mobile Legends, and PUBG Mobile, there's no point of refresh rates higher than 60Hz on a phone.

Iphone is the most stupidest company, it provides powerful phone yet the screen still 60 hrtz and not that smooth compare to flagship android phone even thou the Iphone is much more expensive.
