I love the fact, that this was the first ship, New Zealand lost since WW2.
But was she actually a DEI hire? Every headline I read specifies, that she is lesbian - I mean, who cares, if she likes weiner or taco nibbling? Even a terrible Commander shouldn't have been able to cause that grounding. There were likely a litany of failures leading up to it; having a Commander who Didn't Earn It being one of them. It'll be interesting to see what scapegoats the Court of Inquiry point to.
