about me

Hello! I am Michael Tsuruda.

As a first-generation American with a passion in finance, I am seeking a way to provide a great impact on the world employing my practcial skills in finance that I gained from investing and extracurricular activities.

I first started inveting in foreign currencies in 8th grade, primarily in US dollar. Today, the investment portfolio consists Japanese equities, mutual funds, that grew over +160%, overperforming the market with CAGR of +21% and a sharpe ratio of 2.49.

As a finalyst for the TAMID National Private Equity Competition, I have gained a precious hands-on experience, preparing me to further dive me into the area of finance.
