Today was a good reminder that Tumblr does not, for whatever reason, block people from your side blogs unless you specifically add them to the list despite them being blocked on your main. My mistake, I’ll have to fix that.
Anyway, I don’t think people on this website realize that when they become a prominent member of a community, they tend to show up on other people’s posts in reblog chains whether you have them blocked or not. In any case I’m not sure how much stock I put in the opinions of someone who actively spews racist and genocidal rhetoric, but that’s kind of the whole purpose of this blog to document. But as we all know this particular person is generally just the nastiest example of where supremacy and bigotry couched in the language of “progressivism” and willful ignorance converge.
Speaking of, I have a wonderful book recommendation for everyone with the eyes to see (available also in audiobook format!) and heart to hear: Ta-Nehisi Coates’ The Message. I only just finished it today and already it’s sitting with me so heavily. I think it’s also so important what he says, though, about listening to Palestinian voices in their own experiences of oppression- and I feel deeply inspired to seek that out more than ever. But still, it’s a great book that I think should inspire bravery in all of us. From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free 🇵🇸🍉
“The vast majority of Jewish people are Zionists. Anti-Zionism is antisemitism.”
Reblogs are disabled because Zionists have found this post and I do not debate or value the opinions of people who support and/or deny genocide. That being said it is a disappointment that I would have to do this since I would be very much open to a discussion, but I refuse to give time and attention to colonizers. That being said, I do recognize that the title of this post is a little bit ambiguous in what I was meaning to say so I’ll clarify:
While it is true that many Jewish people are some form of Zionist, opinions differ greatly between individuals and the blanket painting of all Jewish people as adhering to Zionist principles is simply incorrect. The idea that just because this is a relatively “small” percentage that these people’s opinions are irrelevant is, in itself, antisemitic, as is the insistence that Jewish identity is inherently tied to a supremacist and colonialist movement. Many Jewish scholars over the years have attempted to reject Zionist principles even when facing discrimination from the rest of their community, and discrimination against Jewish people of “undesirable” identities has always been an aspect of Zionist endeavors.
To any Palestinians viewing my blog: I have asks and messaging disabled to avoid harassment, but please feel free to tag me in your vetted fundraiser posts and I will gladly reblog them. From the river to the sea 🍉🇵🇸

"Only a Few Hours Left Before We Enter Our First Year of War, Genocide, Starvation, and Displacement A Final Plea from the Heart of Hell: Save Us Before Hope Dies 💔🔥 I am Abdel Salam, and I have nothing left but words written by a trembling hand ✍️. The war has not only destroyed our lives; it has taken everything from us. Our home, which was once our refuge, is now a pile of rubble 🏚️.
My car, my only source of livelihood, was destroyed in a sudden strike 🚗, and the work that sustained us is now a distant memory 💼. Today, I live in an endless nightmare. Under a sun that burns everything in its path 🌞🔥, my family and I sit in a worn-out tent, a tent that shields us neither from the summer heat nor the winter cold ❄️. Insects 🦟 invade the place, diseases consume our bodies 🩺, and my younger siblings cry from hunger and thirst 🍞💧. We have no clean water or a crumb of bread to ease our hunger. Each passing day deepens the weight of this hell we live in.
My Daughter Eman is Dying from Malnutrition 😨 My daughter Eman suffers from malnutrition; I have nothing to feed or treat her with. The deterioration of her health is killing me slowly. Every glance in her eyes, every pain she endures, crushes my heart 💔. How can I explain to her that what was once our hope has now turned into nothing but a mirage? The Night Only Adds to Our Pain 🌙 The night does not bring us rest; it only adds to our pain. We sleep on hard ground, feeling the cold in every bone of our bodies 🥶, with nothing but pieces of cardboard 📦 to cover us. My wife Aya cries in silence 🥺 as she watches our daughter’s future fade before her eyes. My mother Eman suffers from illness and needs urgent medical care 🩺💊.
My Father Ahmed is Sick with Cancer and Needs Emergency Treatment My father Ahmed, who is sick with cancer, needs emergency treatment outside Gaza, and the cost of his treatment is at least $10,000, not including accommodation. As he suffers from severe pain, I cannot provide the treatment he needs due to our dire situation.
My Siblings Are in Constant Suffering ⚰️ My brother Omar was unable to continue his studies due to the situation. My brother Nader could not take his high school exams, and my younger brother Mohammad suffers from brittle bones and needs treatment we cannot afford. Every day we live brings us one step closer to the end. Death surrounds us from every side: if not from hunger 🍽️, then from illness 🦠. And if not from illness, then from the despair that devours our souls. Where is Humanity? Where is the World? 🌍💔 We want to leave the devastated Gaza Strip to escape the machinery of destruction and killing and the severity of hunger and poverty. The cost of travel for each person is $5,000, and we are a family of seven members, bringing the total cost to $35,000.
Where are the compassionate hearts? Are you waiting for us to disappear into the depths of this suffering? Are you waiting until death takes us before you act? We are drowning, and we don’t have enough strength to scream for help 🆘. Will you let this cry go unanswered? 😭 Your donation today is our last thread of hope. With the little support I received, I was able to buy a simple phone 📱 to reach out to you. But the bitter truth is that what I and my family need is much greater. We are not asking for much; just enough to save our lives from this hell 🔥. Every donation, no matter how small, could be the difference between life and death for us 👐. Don’t Let Us Disappear in the Darkness of Suffering 🌑 Don’t let our story end here. Be the light that guides us to salvation 🕯️✨.
With every tear, with every pain, I write this final plea to you, Abdel Salam."
If you see this post and is capable of donating pls donate to help this family to get the help they need or share if you can't donate so someone who can does it
"While some dream of peace, there are those who pay the price with their blood just for saying 'no to violence.' When will this injustice end?"

I've been having a lot of thoughts about my friends in Gaza recently. Specifically, my friend @ma7moudgaza2 . His GoFundMe has a very low and attainable goal of $25,000, and we can absolutely meet it.
Mahmoud lives with four of his family members in a tent, from which he does his studies. Here are some pictures he sent me of his set up before and after this genocide started. Mahmoud is a user interface designer. The computer he has now is from a friend, as his was lost. His university was destroyed, along with every other, and he can no longer study.
Mahmoud and his family are a few of many who have been repeatedly displaced by the IOF, and it's long since wearing on them. They deserve to sleep without buzzing over their heads and live without the knowledge that they could be martyred at any minute. They are relying on your help, either by way of donations or reblogs, to rebuild their lives. Please help them however you can.
