Orbspace Inc. CEO, Aaron Rensch
Born in Vienna, Austria in 1970. After completing his master's degree in mechanical engineering at the Vienna University of Technology in 1997, he worked as a researcher at the European Space Agency (ESA) and the National Aerospace Laboratory (now JAXA) before joining the French Space Agency (CNES) in 2002. He worked at the Ariane Rocket Development Headquarters developing future rocket propulsion systems, future reusable rocket systems, and methane-fueled rocket engines. In 2006, he founded Orbspace in Austria, and is working to develop a low-cost, reusable small rocket called "Infinity." He has also been commissioned to undertake numerous research and development contracts with the EU and other organizations, and provides technical consulting to space agencies and companies in various countries. In September 2020, he obtained a confirmation certificate for the "Ibaraki Prefecture No. 1 Startup Visa," and in February 2021, he founded Orbspace Japan.
