Let's put it this way... this song is incredibly complex. It has three main parts, no huge chorus, several guitar solos, unsingable falsettos... yet everyone you know knows this song, don't they? Every word, every lick in the guitar solos? That's the mark of an incredible song. It transcends the pop song format and becomes a cultural touchstone, an indelible mark on humanity. Wow.
A student walks into class at 8:05. Exactly 5 mins late.
The teacher pauses in his lecture and asks why the student was exactly 5 mins late.
The student says, "Well I had just pulled into the parking lot when Bohemian Rhapsody came on the radio. And I just couldn't walk away from a jam like that."
The teacher nods approvingly and continues his lecture.
I absolutly love this song. It has so many different elements going on in it both lyrically and instrumentally. By the way if you do not like this song I honestly have to say this, You do not know, understand, or comprehend what greatness sounds like. They combine so many elements into one peice of music and make it sound amazing. I have been a muscian for a long time and that is extremly hard to do. Queen is one of the greatest bands of all time period.
Truly a unique band and song. Their transitions are so unexplainable and brilliant it is almost hard to comprehend if you think about what style of music came before and after them.
Magic. Why can't we have such amazing music nowadays, music like this, music that brings those pleasant shivers down your spine, makes you feel nostalgic, happy and like crying all at the same time.
I was 5 years old when this beautiful song was born. I remember loving it the first time I heard it. Queen was and still are my idols and it was a very sad day when Freddie past away. I have met Brian May and had a really nice chat with him. That was really special, to shake the hand of a guitar master. Bo Rap is one of the most amazing songs ever recorded and takes the listener on a roller coaster ride thru the medium of music, for me, this song will always be special. There are 3 songs that
there will never be another Freddie mercury a man that was pure talent at his best, what a master piece of a song, there will never ever be another song made as great as this one. rip Freddie. thank you for the music

Wow, you did upload the video without getting a copyright strike. You didn’t even give credit to the owner or say in the description that you don’t own the video. I wish YouTube stayed in this way.
queen has 125 songs that are all fun to listen to, and are all different. They all had different styles of writing and the singing was fantastic and music top notch. the best
To Students of Music: This song pops up under a search for polyphony, but it is not polyphony. This is an example of homophony--one primary melody with various interesting harmonies (such as the broken chords on the piano) that support and add beauty to the primary melody.
America was introduced to this song, and for many of us the band Queen, when this video aired on the Midnight Special in 1975. The Midnight Special was always a live performance format, so the video was a very rare exception. Got everyone's attention to say the least! I still remember watching the show and thinking "WTF did I just see??" Great song and a great time for music.
I remember watching this video with my older sister in late 74 - on countdown (australia) and was blown away by it - so unique and different - even now it still has alot of power
