Meet the Semitic Jews...
The Samaritan Jewish sect is the descendant of the Jews who fled Egypt with the Prophet Moses and settled in Palestine after it was occupied by the Prophet Joshua bin Nun.
Their number is about 3,000 people and they live on Mount Gerizim in Nablus city (Shechem) and believe that the first temple was built on this mountain. They differ from the rest of the Jewish sects in more than 300 laws, and they are hostile to Zionism and the establishment of a state for the Jews in Palestine.
They speak the Palestinian dialect fluently and have a representative in the Palestinian Legislative Council and hold 3 nationalities: Jordanian, Palestinian and Israeli.
