Equinor acquires almost 10% of Ørsted

With the acquisition, Equinor becomes the second largest shareholder in Ørsted. At the same time, Equinor announces that it plans buy more shares in Ørsted – but not many.

Equinor has acquired 41,197,344 shares in Ørsted. This corresponds to 9.8% of the company, making the Norwegian state-owned company the second largest shareholder in Ørsted – after the Danish state.
