ASX to drop, Dow paces Wall St lower

Australian shares are poised to fall, in line with weakness in New York amid heightened concerns about a further escalation in the Middle East and as traders await September’s nonfarm payrolls report.

The report, to be released at 10.30pm AEST on Friday, could reset expectations for the next Federal Reserve rate cut in November.
