I am reading my Criminology book, it's brilliant 👏 Between the 3 books this and my 2 x sociology books, all to prepare me for my dissertation 🙂 I have a lot to fit in before my start date, I mean other qualifications and studies 🧐 I have a lot of content to pull together for the website , conflict of interest knowing a person who works for two companys and stealing learners, would be a conflict of interest how about staff 😅 Funny, I am reading the Criminology book and all the different areas within Criminology the different branches, I will add my own to that list, ofcourse what I read about within Criminology, having been a person stuck within an offending criminal structure, substance offending and recedivisim, I have met every type of person and character within different criminal structures, and what I just read about thr criminal opportunitist, while different theories and views within different criminologies have different beliefs, rational actors, who calculate the crime costs and benefits, that made me chuckle, of course they do, organised crime, even your common thief does 🧐

Submit your papers in IMRAD format along with presentation (devote yourself to presenting your paper excellently, as it may result in receiving awards for best presenter, paper , or output). Further instructions will be provided in a letter. 4. If there are no presenters due to ongoing research of students, you may select 20-30 students to participate in the colloquium on their behalf. The Governance of Criminology: As a criminologist, I've often reflected on why our profession doesn't have a unified governing board like those in medicine or law. The field of criminology is vast and interdisciplinary, encompassing areas such as sociology, psychology, law enforcement, and forensic science. This diversity is both a strength and a challenge. Our profession is currently supported by various professional organizations rather than a single governing body. Organizations like the American Society of Criminology (ASC) and the British Society of Criminology (BSC) provide crucial support, resources, and professional development opportunities. They help maintain high standards and foster a sense of community among criminologists. Establishing a unified governing board for criminologists is possible, but it would require significant collaboration across different specializations and regions. It would involve creating standardized certification processes and establishing a regulatory framework to ensure fair representation and ethical oversight. Until such a board exists, we rely on our professional organizations to advance the field, promote ethical practices, and support our professional growth. 🎓 Excited to share a milestone in my academic journey! I have recently completed a Professional Diploma in Criminology & Forensic Psychology with City Colleges. In addition to completing this comprehensive program, I was honored to receive a distinction for my essay titled "Critically Evaluate the Body of Evidence that Highlights the Salience of Family Variables as Precipitants of Delinquency." This research provided an in-depth analysis of the crucial role family dynamics play in influencing youth behavior and delinquency. A big thank you to my professor John Deane-O'Keeffe.
