You could almost get TWO tv1813m’s ($3999 total. PSA doesn’t charge tax or shipping) for about the same price as ONE JTR 2400 ($3599 + tax and shipping).

Seems like a more fair comparison would be between the JTR 2400 and the TV 3613 (dual 18” drivers) or Tv21 ipal.

Or better yet…

PSA has preorder specials going right now on the new TV2112-m and Tv2112m - ipal.

The Tv2112m is only $2099 on presaleor $3999 for duals! until thanksgiving. Then it goes up slightly. I sooo wish I could get in on the presale! I got the Tv1813m when it was on presale and would love to eventually add a 2nd (not because I need it), or even better a Tv2112m. I was thinking of jumping on the presale but then my TV decided to start dying on me so that just ate up the savings I had put away for home theater upgrades. ☹

I think he has some size limitations that rule out the tv3613 iirc. in a sheer size/output <25hz contest jtr is hard to beat. I routinely steer people to either dss or the s1 when they are focused on sheer displacement <25hz from compact subs. We do some things so well I think we're hard to beat. But other things, maybe not quite that well. It's okay for brands to say that...even though it seems we might break the internet by doing so..:)

Thank you all for the information and the advice. I pulled the trigger on the JTR 2400 a few days ago. It came down to just the overwhelming positive reviews and tons of people not blinking an eye and saying JTR not only on here but other forums too... plus the size of the box is just about at my absolute limit without causing space issues. I feel any of the two or three options i had would have been an great upgrade over my current hsu vtf-15 mk2 but went with the JTR.
Thank you all!!
