Iran’s Crucial Decision On Israel By As'Ad AbuKhalil, Consortium News. September 19, 2024 Educate!
Tehran will eventually need to address Tel Aviv. Maybe even more so after the pager terrorist attack in Lebanon. But Iran will do so on its own terms, not on the timeline dictated by its enemies.
Iran faces probably its most difficult decision since its 1979 victory in the Iranian Revolution.
Israel has launched strikes deep into the heart of Tehran and Beirut’s southern suburbs, significantly strengthening its strategic position.

Israel’s Lebanon Attack: Hungarian Shell Company Linked To Pager Blasts By Robert Inlakesh, MintPress News. September 19, 2024 Educate! Israel launched an attack against Lebanon on Tuesday, detonating thousands of pagers across the country in a move that targeted both Hezbollah members and civilians. The explosions caused widespread panic and confusion, reminiscent of the chaos seen during the 2020 Beirut Port explosion. Hezbollah soon confirmed that Israel was behind the operation.
The attack, involving a Hungarian-based shell company led by a shadowy figure, raised concerns about the extent of foreign influence and operations in the region.
On the first day of the aggression, at least 11 people were killed, and up to 4,000 others were injured, with 400 in critical condition. Following Hezbollah’s vow of retaliation, another wave of explosions rocked Lebanon, this time targeting hundreds of walkie-talkie devices. The subsequent blasts brought the total death toll to 26, with an additional 450 people wounded.

Exploding Pagers in Lebanon, Another Israeli Terrorism Blunder? BY Jamal Kanj According to Israeli sources, the Biden administration wanted to avoid a broader regional conflict that might involve the Resistance in Lebanon, Yemen and Iran, at least until after the U.S. elections in November. However, all indications suggest that Netanyahu is resisting the American demands, and even disregarding the opinion of his own war minister who does not believe it’s the right time to expand the war.

If some other governments — say Russia, China or Iran — were even suspected of being responsible for Israel’s terror attacks on Lebanon, U.S. officials would be churning out denunciations
Posted on19/09/2024by Elijah J. Magnier By – Elijah J. Magnier:
Israeli intelligence conducted a sophisticated operation against Hezbollah, its supporters, and its various institutional contractors. This operation resulted in 2,800 injured and 12 dead, including two children. However, this would not have been possible had Israel not managed to physically obtain the pagers and the shipment that reached Lebanon indirectly. This allowed them to plant a small explosive device along with metal projectiles, sufficient to breach security, cause significant casualties, and create widespread confusion in Lebanon and its society.
In addition, 26 hours later, numerous ICOM V82 transmitters and other electronic devices exploded in a similar manner, resulting in 20 deaths and 300 injuries. This was caused by new batteries containing a small amount of hidden explosives. The same shipment, which had reached Hezbollah shortly before, had been intercepted and tampered with by Israel. Such an operation appears to have temporarily halted Israel's calls for an attack on Lebanon, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the extremist military leaders in his government. However, another possible theory is that Israel is preparing for a larger attack.
The phrase "Israel will cease to exist" was first used by the late Imam Khomeini and has never been used outside the circle of leaders of the "Axis of Resistance," a term describing a coalition of Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah. However, presidential candidate Donald Trump recently shocked everyone with his declaration that "Israel will not endure and will cease to exist in two years" if his rival Kamala Harris is elected.

Russian-Pakistani Relations Are Surprisingly Taking On Strategic Dimensions Andrew Korybko Sep 19, 2024
Nothing major has yet to be agreed to, but that might change if Pakistan musters the political will to defy the US, which Russia evidently thinks is possible.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk’s trip to Pakistan has become a milestone in their relations after the wide range of issues that they agreed to more closely cooperate on. This broadly includes trade, industry, energy, connectivity, science, technology, and education. In particular, they also reached a deal for Russia to modernize Pakistani agriculture with machinery and fertilizer plant upgrades, while talks are underway over the possibility of building a new steel mill in Karachi.
The Ayatollah’s Remark About Indian Muslims Is Part Of A Pattern With Huge Implications Andrew Korybko Sep 20, 2024
This follows his criticism of the Zangezur Corridor earlier this summer and Iran’s recent summoning of the Russian Ambassador to complain about Moscow’s support of that project.
Ayatollah Khamenei tweeted on Monday that “The enemies of Islam have always tried to make us indifferent with regard to our shared identity as an Islamic Ummah. We cannot consider ourselves to be Muslims if we are oblivious to the suffering that a Muslim is enduring in Myanmar, Gaza, India, or any other place.” This prompted a sharp rebuke from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, which described it as “unacceptable” and “advised” him “to look at [his country’s] own record” in treating minorities.
Regardless of whatever anyone’s opinion is about the state of minorities in either country, the fact of the matter is that the Supreme Leader’s remark is part of a pattern with huge implications. It follows his tweet in late July about the Zangezur Corridor, which was analysed here and then followed up on here after Iran summoned the Russian Ambassador earlier this month to explain their concerns about Moscow’s support of this project.
