#ACHILLES’ HEEL OF #CHINA AND PRESIDENT XI: NATIONAL ECONOMIC MODEL ON BUMPY ROAD Long #analysis on performance of national economic #model of #China. #Scholars forecast the prolonged #stagnation phenomenon in Japan 1990s of 20th century shall happen on the Mainland of China via indicators 1. Purposedly hide the #statistics numbers: from Aug 2023, China stopped providing statistics on #unemployment rate. The economists in China are now prohibited to discuss or publish any statistics or forecast on macro economy of China to public media of China and international ones 2. #Debt burden of Evergrande Real Estate Group Limited and Country Garden Group pushes these names into the limit of tangible #bankcruptcy - it means Beijing could not hide their bleeding wounds on Chinese #banking industry anymore. #Ghost town #phenomenon in hundreds of cities and towns are exposed to Chinese citizens and international tourists. This is the blockage in the blood vein of the whole economy of China but the #Central #Government is #reluctant to take comprehensive #cleansing approach. 3. #Aging phenomenon on Population Tower: from 2018, the #death rate was higher than the #birth rate. It means China has come to the end of tunnel - everlasting #growth 4. Low #purchasing power from domestic consumer, taking account of 30%-40% of the national GDP. It means majority of national production and service are exported to other nations. When encountering the turbulence of global economy, China shall suffer on stiff of supply chain, diminishing global demand, increase on interest rate, importing inflation and stagnation to China. 5. #Toxic and #oppressed political environment under the supreme and sole leadership of President #xijinping creates reluctance and diminishing effort of Chinese communists and local scholars to stand up and voice out the #abnormality of the economy management. 6. #International investor community accelerates the leaving China progress as avoidance of potential risks of doing busines in China: being spied on technological advancement, being captured and imprisoned for ill-founded charges, being treated via coersive and forceful tactics to enter into joint venture with local chinese partners, being forcefully nodded to build up micro unit of Chinese communist party in their FDI enterprises, etc..

Do you know the ‘Digital Tourist Card’(디지털관광주민증) of Korea? When traveling to small cities in Korea, if you present this digital ID card at tourist attractions, cafes, restaurants, accommodations, experience centers, etc., you will receive discounts like local residents. It is a kind of ‘honorary resident card.’ My review of the digital tourist ID card experience. Conclusion: If you are fluent in Korean, I definitely recommend it. Foreigners who are not good at Korean have problems using it. I hope the Korean government will provide an English version. Not only Koreans but also foreigners residing in Korea can get one with just a cell phone. Unfortunately, the instructions are only in Korean. ID Photo not required. All you need is a smartphone. Before visiting a travel destination, go to the ‘‘대한민국 구석구석(Every Corner of Korea)" app operated by the Korea Tourism Organization and click ‘Get a digital tourist ID card’. After verifying your real name and phone number, follow the instructions and select the place you want to go. There is no limit to the issuing region, and it is okay to receive it for all participating regions. You can check the ‘View Benefits’ for each participating company in the area you plan to travel and then plan your travel course. As the number of issuers increases, more than 800 companies in 34 regions across the country are providing discounts to holders. There are many places that offer a ‘10% discount’, and there are also places that offer discounts equivalent to those of local residents. Within just one year of launching Todo Classroom, Enuma has secured supply contracts with 430 elementary schools across South Korea. #geopolitics: #Cambodia, emerging name in the middle of global chess board of super powers: #china #USA #Russia #France and regional-level tigers: #Thailand, #Vietnam Radio France Internationale #RFI has just #broadcasted a long article in which they analysed the recent movements in Cambodia via recent visit of US Secretary of #Defense, Director of #CIA and #military cooperation treaty with #Russia. Personal observation: 1. #Russia has motives to extend their muscle to Asian region in the context of mistrust and collapse of relation between #NATO and #Kremlin. Besides of existing names: China, North Korea, India, Iran and Vietnam, #Russia finds their new #allies in West Pacific rim, a global economic hub who could bring a lof of benefits to Russia in terms of economic growth, investment, technology, export markets, weapon deals. Morever, #diversification strategy minimizes the sole dependence risk on China. Russia fully understands the volatility of Sino-Russo relation with prolonged controversary topics like: Russian Empire in 18th and 19th century forced #Qing feudal regime on sovereign territory treaty in which China abandoned a vast land to Russia (nowadays #Kamchatka peninsula and #Manchuaria region) 2. The USA warms up the relationship with Phnom Penh with new cabinet led by PM Hun Manet, alumna of United States Military Academy at West Point. Certainly PM Hun Manet does not possess the attitude of anti-American value like his father, Hun Sen. The action of the #Pentagon will gradually loosen #Cambodia in the tight arms of #Beijing to avoid the disaster in which China could successfully re-enforce their dream of establishing new naval fortress at #Ream, deep sea port of #Cambodia, besides of the 1st overseas naval base at #Djibouti, Africa. 3. #France: the silent player on international arena. More sustainability schemes recognized through the Coffee Sustainability Reference Code. GCP announced the recognition of Cooxupé’s Gerações, Comexim’s Green Trace, Perhusa’s ARTS and Touton’s PACT as equivalent to the Coffee SR Code, 2nd party assurance. The number of sustainability schemes recognized by GCP as 3rd party and 2nd party assurance now amounts to 23, representing encouraging progress for sector alignment on coffee sustainability. JBR Plastic Mold & Molding Participates in Transformative Business Training, Drawing Inspiration from the "Jinjiang Experience". The training kicked off with participants introducing themselves, quickly creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. The program featured lectures by distinguished professors from the School of Business Administration at Huaqiao University. Professor Jinlong Chen, a Ph.D. advisor, and Professor Changjun Yi, the Dean, delivered compelling talks on "Corporate Development Trends Amidst Domestic and International Economic Situations" and "Business Models." Through rich examples and engaging language, they imparted critical knowledge, leaving participants deeply enlightened. Quanzhou, one of China's top ten industrial cities and a manufacturing hub in Fujian Province, is the birthplace of the "Jinjiang Experience." To better understand this renowned development model and the innovative strategies of benchmark enterprises in Fujian, participants, including representatives from JBR Plastic Mold & Molding, engaged in immersive visits to leading companies like JOMOO, ANTA, and Hengan Group. These visits provided an in-depth look at their production operations, digital transformations, and innovative approaches, offering a glimpse into the dynamic industrial landscape of Jinjiang. The training was universally praised by attendees, who found the blend of theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and cultural immersion to be exceptionally valuable. Professor Jinlong Chen emphasized four key points for businesses: during prosperous economic times, companies should invest in equity; during downturns, they should be willing to liquidate assets; in good times, companies should focus on profitability; and in bad times, they should prioritize survival. Professor Changjun Yi inspired participants by highlighting the importance of a well-suited business model, which he identified as a critical factor for a company’s success. The practices of JOMOO, ANTA, and Hengan Group reinforced the message that for sustained development, companies must innovate, build strong brands, and undergo management reforms. Success lies in focusing deeply on a specific field, honing technical expertise, accumulating experience, and building brand strength, all of which are essential for maintaining a competitive edge in the market. #EVAR Selected Korean Super Gap Startups to Lead Global Entrepreneurship The ‘Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project,’ which will officially start this year, will select 150 super gap deep-tech startups with unrivaled technologies based on evaluations by top-level experts from academia, industry, and fields of investment at home and abroad. Each company will receive a total of KRW 1.1 billion in funding.   Selected startups will receive KRW 1.1 billion in direct support, including up to KRW 600 million in commercialisation funds and KRW 500 million in R&D funds depending on corporate demand over the next 3 years.
