If you go to that thread in the ea sportsa fourms a devolper asked the community what they ahve done to fix the isssue and people are stating if you read the fourm that they have deleted their custom sound tracks from other games like NHL, Madden, 2k sports games etc, and now their fight night works fine.

" We are aware that some users that have had freezing demo issues also have the retail version freezing on them as well. We are continuing to troubleshoot this on our end to determine specifically what the cause is.

The freeze issue seems to be an HDD related issue and specific files contained within. We are still investigating what it is about these specific files on specific HDDs as it is happening to a very small number of users.

What seems to resolve the issue for some is to disconnect your network cable and reconnect once you are past the freeze screen or reformatting your HDD (save game files to Memory Card) "

Remove the drive completely or buy another one. Both of those methods worked for me.

I don't think a whole lot of people are going to want to buy a new harddrive to play this game....

And yeah, it's pretty ****ing horrible that you have to play the game WITHOUT an HDD if you are dealing with the issue.

Yeah, I don't blame you if you don't want to buy another one. I just wanted to give you an answer because I was looking for the same yesterday.

its not just a hard drive problem....wifi adapters do it too...thats my problem

Well, what fixed my problem was disabling the 360 to PC connection and deleting all of my playlist. I even tested out making a new playlist after that and it actually still worked.

As soon as I booted without my ethernet cord I had no problems

Its just stupid that a company as wealthy and experienced as this can ship this to retailers. Especially after they got the heads up from the demo. Buying or removing ur hdd should not even be a question! The ethernet isn't that big of a deal but the hdd is bs
