This is an upscaled and modified version of a quick release clamp (Similar to those on bicycle saddles). I designed it for our sand box roof, because the screws were pretty unhandy. You have to use M6 screws (length depends on your sand box model) and 10mm barrel nuts with it and place the barrel nut inside the pivot element during printing. Pause at layer 90 (at 0.2mm layer height) and push it in with the groove pointing downwards to do so. Use sturdy settings with at least 5 walls and 2mm...

I made this frame for the 'Archimedes Turbine' (windmill). I NEEDS NO BEARINGS !!! Just insert 2 pieces of 7x1 aluminium pipe into the ends of the frame. Put the Archimede turbine on an M4 threded rod or 4mm axel rod. And keep it in place with M5 bolts on either end. Adjust the bolts so the axel or M4 threaded rod runs freely inbetween the bolts in the aluminum pieces of pipe (bushings).
