Mothers have a problem. Every one of us wants to raise an amazing family but we don’t have a clear path on how to do that. We have some ideas and we try like heck but when we take a step back and look at our families, are we seeing what we want to see? Do we see happy, thriving children? Or do we see children who are more often:

After twenty years of raising my own family, I have found plenty of things that did not work for us such as lecturing, giving them busy work, and yelling at them. Thankfully I’ve also discovered a handful of things that did work for our family. And there’s one thing that seems to work like magic for ALL families and that my friend, is reading aloud.
