It’s 1989. The glaring halogen lamps from the white track lights above illuminate the slat wall displaying the seasons hottest trends. Screeching hangars against the racks muddle the distance as you make your way into the mall halls. The scene is lit with stone wash jeans, Adidas high tops, mullets, flat tops and perms. It’s the days of Nintendo and MTV. A gentle rain patterns against the sky lights. Pizza beckons you from the food courts.

The feeling of nostalgia when you hear this hits you head on. Think back to your youth of shopping through a shopping center or mall that doesn't exist anymore, the dystopian feeling it has is that of loss and sadness that something is just a memory and no longer there.

The song reminds me of the 70s and 80s when my mother was a young mom at the time, and I was a baby I miss the old fun times in the mall, and watching a lot of people shopping, eating at the food lobby I am now 21 year's old, and this song is nostalgia to my ears.

I like how they made it sound like a worn-out cassette, which gives it a very authentic 80s vibe to it, but is there a version of this song that doesn't have the worn-out cassette effects? I.E., it sounds like a brand-new recording?
