2024年9月4日。日本商工倶楽部に招待され、たくさんの企業の会長や社長らの前で、世界を見据えた人材育成というテーマで爆発的な講演をしました。

今の学校教育と実社会が求めるものについて考えた。そこにギャップがある。教科書は本当に必要な内容を教えない。学術界と産業界、そして、教育とその応用力、これらの間にも大きなギャップが生まれている。生徒が精神的に壊れる。学校に行かなくなる。多くの若者は社会を変えられると思わない。人生の目標を見失っている。

だからこそ教育の概念を変えて、もっともっとリアルなものにしないといけない。生徒が自己分析をし、自己理解ができるようにならなくちゃ。彼らに人格形成のツールを与えなくちゃ。彼らの執筆力と表現力をあげなくちゃ。課題を分析し、その解決を見つけるテクニックを教えなくちゃいけない。でも、学校教育の多くはゴミ。生涯に渡って役に立たないもの。そんなカリキュラムを変えなくちゃ。

私の講演後に、櫻井よしこさんが講演を行いました。「ばーか」という言葉を連発していましたね。面白かったです。

04-Sep-2024. I gave a full blast lecture at the Nihon Shoko Club, the prestigious consortium of small and mid-scale industries in the presence of Chairmans and Presidents of several companies.

We delved into the question, what todays education is up to? And what the real world needs? The books and schools aren't teaching what they should. There is a gap! We have super gap between the academia and the industry, between education and its application. Many students break. They stop coming to school. Many youngsters feel they just can't change the things. They have lost the battle.

We need to bring conceptual and practical changes in education. Students must be able to analyse and know themselves. They need to have access to tools for personality development. They must be able to write and express. Multilingual skills help in larger development. They need to know the techniques to define and analyse problems, and solve them. But school education just gives a lot of garbage that is of no use at any point in later life. If the curriculum is not changing, we need to do it outside the curriculum.

After my lecture, Ms. Yoshiko Sakurai, a famous journalist, offered a lecture on Japan's defense strategies. She gave a blunt and interesting speech. It was fun.

In the end, we sold and I signed my biography.
