江戸時代に生み出され、行司たちが受け継いできた「相撲字」。番付などにも用いられる骨太の文字は「隙間なくお客さんが入るように」と大入り満員への願いが込められています。
本イベントの書き手は「第35代木村庄之助」。大相撲の長い歴史でわずか38人しか名乗っていない行司の大名跡35代目です。
そんな名行司が大入り袋柄の台紙にあなたの好きな言葉を書き、両国に拠点を構え有名アパレルブランドも手掛ける「ADP」の確かな技術を持った職人が、相撲字を目の前で「転写プリント」いたします。

The 35th Shonosuke Kimura will wield his brush with Sumo-ji.
Sumo-ji is the Calligraphy style with very wide brushstrokes used to write the banzuke.

Sumo, Japan's national sport, has been around for over 1500 years.
Since ancient times, Sumo has taken root in Japan as a ritual to pray for a good harvest.
It is a sacred thing offered to the gods. That is Sumo.
Sumo matches occur in a circular area called the dohyo, where God descended.
Before the match, wrestlers sprinkle salt to purify themselves and wear only mawashi.
The noble match, where bodies collide purely against each other, takes place in the sacred dohyo.
The highest referee who governs the dohyo is called "Shonosuke Kimura"
There have only been 38 Shonosuke Kimura in the history of Sumo.
The strongest wrestler is called a Yokozuna, but there have only been 73 Yokozuna.
Shonosuke Kimura, as a priest, is a messenger of God, so to speak, who brings God down to the dohyo.
Shonosuke Kimura writes Sumo-ji, a traditional character style dating back about 400 years to the Edo period.
These characters represent the spirit of respect for the wrestlers and the good fortune of happiness, with the hope of prosperity.
Thick, round, sturdy, and robust.
These Sumo referees have passed down Sumo characters as a skill for generations.
Shonosuke Kimura, a messenger of God, will write the characters just for you.
Then, ADP, a printing company with one of the most advanced technologies in Japan, will print the characters on your designed T-shirt.
The design is based on a traditional Japanese "Ooiribukuro" pattern.
It represents prosperity and has the auspicious meaning of sharing that happiness.
