Maybe the best way out is for Liko to fail the course and have her Tera Orb taken away. That could open a way for the Explorers to try to recruit her. Maybe Spinel, or more likely Sidian or Amethio since she'd be far less trusting of Spinel given her previous encounters with him could use her failure while arguably technically performing better than Roy or Dot, even if the results didn't show it, that Naraja Academy isn't the best place and maybe they could teach her and potentially give her a Tera Orb they just "acquired". After all, their orders are to just follow her and since she and Terapagos are key to finding and entering Rakua, maybe they'll view recruitment as a better chance to helping them accomplishing their goals than fighting with the Rising Volt Tacklers, Liko among them. Maybe Chalce could assist in digging up some of Naraja's darker past, assuming this takes place after the Starfall Street incident so it wouldn't have mattered since passing or failing is so arbitrary. Heck, they may even say that Grusha is better than the other testers since he actually expects results and had good lessons for real life. That would really challenge Liko morally, especially if she does learn something about Naraja's darker past, since it would be really tempting to get a Tera Orb from someone and it may not be too difficult to make a believable claim that not every Explorer is like Spinel. They could even claim to be under cover for the real leader, who is "not a bad guy at all" to weed out the actual bad guys like Spinel.
